Checking up on his staff was something Facilier did often. It was important to make sure they had the supplies they needed and that they were comfortable. That was what he was doing when he popped in on the Infirmary Tent. He wanted to make sure Aidan and the other healers and doctors were doing okay.
"Everything's pretty much tip top shape here," Aidan said as he put a book on a shelf. "Now that spring is here, we can use a lot more herbal remedies. And I'm pretty sure the doctors are doing fine too."
"Well, that's good to hear," Facilier said. "We never want to be caught unprepared in an emergency."
Little did the two men know, of course, that an emergency was headed right towards the tent.

"HEY! THERE'S A CHILD IN HERE! HE NEEDS HELP! IS SOMEONE? ANYONE? JUST HEAL HIM OR SOMETHING PLEASE! HE'S DYING! DON'T JUST HIDE THERE! HELP!"
Kasturi cannot believe that she is doing this! She was supposed to do her training just to calm herself down but NOOO! She instead caught in the act of saving a little boy from having an arrow being struck on his chest, and possibly get him some new clothes to be added. The princess was running around the Cirque in hopes to find a clinic or something, and good thing the boy is sorta light to lift with.
Passing by, she saw two men talking. She remembered the skinny man when she peeked inside the main performance tent, maybe she can get help from him!
So she sprang up inside the Infirmary Tent without any concern of two people talking, but who cares?! A kid is dying and he needs help!
"You...and you...YOU TWO! Heal this boy! I'm begging you! He's dying!" she said with signs of exhaustion from running around while carrying the boy.

The emergency, so to speak, came in the form of a young woman, practically hysterical as she held a boy in her arms. The little kid wasn't faring too well. Aidan could see a hole n his chest. A bullet wound, possibly? Or maybe he had been stabbed with something. Either way, they needed help. The only question was, could he use his powers here? Normal humans didn't react to that stuff well. Facilier seemed to know what he was thinking.
"Relax, Aidan. I think they know what we are. The kid's not human, at least," Facilier said. The woman seemed pretty human to him. Before they could do anything with the kid, however, they had to calm her down.
"Easy there, miss. Relax. We'll take care of this kid." He turned to Aidan. "You got some kind of operating table or something? Some place we can lay him out?"
"Yeah. Over there." Aidan gestured to a long table nearby. The doctors used it more than he did, but it would still be useful in this case.
"Okay. Miss, if you could just bring this kid here, we'll have Aidan over here treat him. Don't worry. He's the best healer we got."

"Don't worry. He's the best healer we got. Pffft! Yeah right." she bluntly mocked the old man, even trying to mimic his deep voice. Despite seeing 'Aidan' being a veteran in healing because of his age and stuff, she still have doubts. The main wound that the little boy have is severe, it would take advanced medical procedure to save him.
Kasturi laid the little boy gently onto the operating table while she pulled out something from her sheath to show the two old men, it's an arrow...and the tip is still dripping blood. "I saw him when he was about to enter your Cirque thingy, I asked if he has parents but he collapsed. The next thing I knew, he has an arrow on his chest. The rest of him looked like he was...Ugh, he looked like he was-you know, violated? Assaulted or something!" She tried to explain everything in a formal manner, the thought that she is annoyed of getting reminded as a princess annoys her that it went stuck to her head.
When she looked at the little boy, she noticed that there are tears flowing over his eyes. She tried to stay calm as possible because she doesn't want to see a dead child.
"Look, just save him before I punch EITHER OF YOU in the face if you didn't save him!" She said with her eyebrows furrowed at them. Her temper is starting to boil.

Facilier narrowed his eyes. Mimicking him was a little uncalled for. "Look lady, if you can't be calm about this, I'm going to have to ask you to wait outside," he said, crossing his arms over his chest. He didn't need her yelling and shouting while Aidan was working on saving this kid.
"I've worked in worse situations, Facilier. It's fine," Aidan said. The woman's behavior was understandable, in his mind. Some people reacted different ways when they were panicked. Some got scared shitless and couldn't move. Others just snapped at anyone who talked to them. The woman seemed to be more in the latter category. He was sure she was a nice person when she wasn't under so much pressure. The woman explained that the kid had been shot with an arrow and looked like he had been assaulted. After looking the boy over, Aidan could see that she was right. "Right. I can heal his wounds, but he's probably still going to need some time to recover from all this." Healing physical injuries was one thing, healing someone's mind was another. And when this boy got better, he was bound to be more than traumatized from this near-death experience. But, Aidan pushed that away. He had to focus on the here and now. He cracked his knuckles, and in less than a minute, his hands were glowing with his healing magic. Concentrating, his placed his palms over the boy's arrow wound, channeling his magic energy.
While Aidan was working, Facilier turned back to the woman. "Do you have any idea who could have done this?" he asked. "Did you see anyone suspicious or shady-looking?" If the arrow was still dripping blood, then this injury happened recently. And that could mean that the assailant wasn't too far away. If somebody like that was running around near his circus, Facilier wanted to find out who it was and deal with him. Vigilante justice usually wasn't his style, but he could take that route if it meant protecting his circus.

Kasturi witnessed Aiden's ability to heal the little boy's injuries, something that she is not surprised at all since one of her younger sisters has that similar ability before. She's just glad that at least some his wounds were healed. The little boy squirmed in pain when it comes to his arrow wound, though.
When 'Facilier' asked Kasturi, she's trying to remember the surroundings before coming here. As a matter of fact, she never seen one person who would violate him. Or at least, she had never went to the place where she self-trained before so she has no idea about the people residing to the place.
"How should I even know? I've never been in this place before, nor I could at least see one person who would did this to him. By the way, what place is this?" She suddenly asked the location because she has NO IDEA where she was before the emergency happened.

Seemed like the woman had no answers. Facilier sighed. This was going to make finding whoever did this a lot harder. He made a mental note to get his security guards on major lookout over the next few weeks. If the assailant found out that the boy had survived, they might come back for him. The woman then asked where exactly she was. "You're at the Cirque Mystique," Facilier replied. "Judging by your reaction to things, I take it you're not a stranger to the supernatural." The woman hadn't seem fazed at all by Aidan's healing powers. Most people would freak out at least a little bit over that. Instead, she was freaking out way more about the boy. Nearby, Aidan was quiet as he worked on healing the boy's injuries. He just needed another minute or two and the kid would be in tip-top shape. Well, maybe not that great, but his wounds would at least be healed.

"Cirque Mystique. How 'Mystical' the name is! Get it? Get it?" she created a pun joke about the name of the Cirque, probably because it's a way to calm her down when she fount out that she's was many miles away from her Kingdom. While her face looks like she is fake smiling from what she heard of where she is because it's far from her home, her mind is obviously saying, "Oh sheet, I'm so dead.".
"And yeah! I've seen a lot of magical mumbo-jumbos around in my Kingdom along with my family. Not to brag about it, but I also got one myself." the princess answered calmly as she showed her dagger in which she activates into a sword through 'magic'. "Though, I don't rely on the magic much, not that I believe magic. It's just...I think it's better to do things with the sword mano-mano, rather than using magic all the time you know." she added.
She took analysis on the arrow based on its looks, it seemed like the arrow came from someone who has a high ranks in whatever kingdom it came from because of the structure of the strong wood that is used for medieval knights when fighting. It looks like the little boy never came from here before. "Just a question, are there any people in this place who wield an arrow this advanced? Because from the looks of it, an arrow wound can be healed by basic first aid because the usual arrow we see is a simple wood with a sharp tip in the end and it doesn't give anyone injuries unless you got struck in the eye. THIS arrow, however, takes more damage than it looks because it literally went through the boy's skin and almost to his heart. Also, how long is the old man going to heal the boy?" Kasturi asked Facilier, she began to have some suspicions on whoever would wield a bow and arrow.

Facilier didn't find much humor in the joke, and the woman soon got serious again. She explained how magic had been a part of her for a while, and even had some thoughts about the arrow. She did have a point. This one wasn't made of wood like most of them. "I know we have a few archers here, but I don't think they use arrows like that," he said. "They may be able to help you figure out where it came from, at least. It could offer you some clues as to who the attacker might be."
"Almost done!" Aidan called when the woman asked how much longer he was going to take. He concentrated for a few more seconds, healing up the last of the arrow wound. His magic died down and he gave a sigh. That had been a pretty close call. But the wound was healed and the boy was alive. "He's fine now," Aidan said to the woman. "He may be a bit groggy when he wakes up, but as long as he takes it easy, he'll be alright."

"Aw come on, you gotta lighten up. You said the kid's fine, then the kid's fine. No worries." Kasturi said when Facilier didn't get her pun joke. What a killjoy.
She was getting curious about the other archer of what he said, she'll have to take investigation sooner or later. "Hmmm. I guess I'll keep this arrow for a while." she stored the arrow behind the dagger sheath. She looked at the boy who is now healed from his wounds, and yet her face flushed in red when she forget that he needs new clothes. She took a mental note about it.
She felt relief that he was healed and thought that it's normal again, until she suddenly saw the little boy's body began to thrash around. Looks like he was having a nightmare, she presumes it's where he probably got a dream of when he was violated. "Help...me..." The little boy quietly cried.

"Hey, you were the one who was freaking out earlier," Facilier reminded the woman. "Don't tell me to lighten up." This woman was starting to give him a headache. But, she still seemed like a good person. She had helped out this boy after all, who was a total stranger to her. Not many people would be that kind to those they didn't know. Speaking of the boy, he started moving. But he didn't seem to be waking up. It looked like he was having a nightmare of some sort.
"Hey, kid, wake up. You're okay," Aidan said, giving him a gentle shake. But it didn't seem like it was working. "Facilier, he needs to be still. He might hurt himself."
"Hold on, I think I got a spell that might wake him up," Facilier said as he drew closer. He hoped it would work. He chanted a few words, making his hands glow with magic. Then he snapped his fingers and there was a small burst of light. The magical residue settled over the boy like dust. Hopefully, it would wake him up.

The princess's eyes widened as Facilier put magic onto the little boy, what he did is a stupid idea for her opinion. "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?! You shouldn't any magic mumbo-jumbo on a child! He might get sick from the side effects....If there's any!" she wasn't actually sure if there are any side effects in magic from the case of the boy's nightmare, though.
~Start Nightmare~ Fire. There is fire everywhere he sees. 4 people are burning in front of him, especially a blonde girl screaming. He saw an old man with a torch and he is burning the girl. He could hear voices from the 4 an it scares him when they were staring at him while their skins were burning. "Andrew Malus Dienheim. Live and know more of the world. That is your..." ~End Nightmare~
The little boy gasped as he sprung up and try to figure out his own self, but instead he coughs up blood that it stains the operating table. "Like that. See? I told you so! Well, it was disgusting in an unexpected way...." Kasturi is not amused of what happened, she think that it's Facilier's fault. She wasn't even surprised by the blood, she just slapped her forehead with her hand. The little boy turned his head and see 3 people in front of him, he stared until tears come out of his eyes. He cried out loud like a newborn baby.

"Look lady, I didn't practice magic for over eight centuries to be lectured about it from the likes of you," Facilier snapped, finally losing his temper. "This boy would be dead now if it wasn't for us. I suggest you be grateful."
Aidan sighed. The woman's complaining and Facilier's bickering was starting to get on his nerves. He had to concentrate on this kid, who coughed up blood. But he only did it once before he finally stopped thrashing about and opened his eyes. Whatever nightmare had plagued his mind seemed to be gone now. He stared at the three of them before bursting into tears. Aidan gave another sigh, this time in relief though. Frightened tears were much easier to take care of than arrow wounds, and they weren't as life-threatening either. "Easy there, lad. You're okay. You're safe here," he said gently in an effort to calm him. Although, to be fair, the kid certainly had a lot to cry about. Near-death experiences weren't easy to get over, especially if a young child had it. But with the arrow wound healed and the nightmares gone, it looked like the only thing left to fix was the emotional damage this experience left behind.

"Oh yeah, I'm grateful until he coughed blood for 'WHATEVER' reason why he did." She sarcastically remarked on what Facilier did. Sure he was able to wake the boy up, but the coughing blood part is another story.
The little boy kept on seeing two people fighting over something he doesn't know, he could see an old man trying to calm him down. He vigorously wiped his tears, which it went worse then the blood on his hands stained his face. Kasturi noticed of what the boy is doing to his face, she tried to hold her laughter because the little boy looked like an Indian because of the stained blood looks like face paint, and a messy one he did. She looked for a fabric that she can find to wipe the blood off his face, she could only find a tissue roll nearby. She pulled a long measure of the tissue and went to the little boy, who went near to Aidan and hold the old man's hand as a sign of him being scared.
"Don't worry, little boy. A tissue won't hurt you, it will just turn you into a mummy." it doesn't actually help that the little boy went stiff in fear and gripped Aiden's hand a little too hard. She gently wiped the boy's face until his tears and his blood were wiped out. She smiles in satisfaction, "Now isn't that better....uh....um.....I don't know his name." she bluntly said it out loud when she doesn't know the little boy's name.

The bickering stopped once Kasturi helped Aidan tend to the boy, which he was grateful for. Arguing wasn't making this any easier. Although the boy still gripped onto Aidan's hand fearfully, he let Kasturi approach her. Although she did note that she had no idea what his name was. "Think you can tell us your name, son?" he asked.
Facilier watched quietly from afar, glad that the woman was finally done complaining. Aidan might have felt a little more sympathetic towards her, but he wasn't. You didn't ask someone for help and then criticize them every step of the way. Sure, the kid had coughed up blood, but it was only once. And considering the state that he was in when he arrived, coughing up blood wasn't the worst thing that could have happened while he recovered.
