Aidan gave a little laugh. "Careful there, princess. Our ringmaster has quite the legendary temper," he said. True, Facilier didn't really fight circus members physically that much, but he had threatened to turn a couple of them into frogs more than once. When Kasturi asked about beds, Aidan gave a nod. "Yup. We got a couple of beds in the back. Bring him over and I'll show you." He led Kasturi towards the back of the tent, where five beds were lined up side by side. Circus members didn't stay here overnight that much, but Aidan and the other healers and doctors liked to be prepared. "I have a fairy friend who helps me out here sometimes. She and I will check on Andrew periodically throughout the night. So, if you happen to see a little fairy with white hair and green eyes poking around here, that's why." He gave a smile.

The princess rolled her eyes with a sigh, "Well, he really needs to cool off for a while. It's unhealthy for him to get stressed all the time, just look at his bone structure!". Ironically, she did stressed out when she thought that the boy is about to die when he luckily wasn't. Though she thinks that she stressed out with a good reason anyway. She gently carried the little boy to her arms, it's like a mother carrying her baby much to her dismay. At least the location seems pretty neat, even though she didn't planned to sleep and more to watching the boy. She placed Andrew on the middle bed, he seems to be pretty stiff in sleeping since he was laid on an operating table before. She is a little skeptical when he said that a "fairy" is sort of an assistant of the Infirmary Clinic, "'Little Fairy'? You mean the sprites who has magical powers and lived in a forest? Now how did the Cirque has inhabitants such as Fairies? You're a legitimate magic healer, and maybe your Ringmaster is some kind of old magician wanna-be. What's next? A human shapeshifter?"
Andrew slowly opened his eyes when he feel something soft and warm, he looked around the room when he realised when he's not sleeping in an operating table anymore. He stared at Aidan for some odd reason, "Grand...pa?" he asked softly.

"Well, he's got some good reasons to be stressed out," Aidan reminded her. "He is the ringmaster, after all. Everyone's safety and well-being is on his shoulders. It's a big responsibility." He gave a little laugh when Kasturi asked about fairies. "Oh, we have all sorts around here," he replied. "It is a supernatural circus, after all. We've got selkies, vampires, gargoyles, you name it. And a couple of regular humans, too." He hoped that wouldn't weird Kasturi out too much. She didn't seem too fazed by Facilier and Aidan's powers earlier. Maybe she was just befuddled that so many different kinds of supernatural creatures were in one place. It could be kind of strange to some. He heard Andrew faintly address him as "grandfather" and he bit his lip, not sure how to respond. Was Andrew still half-asleep? "Just...go back to sleep kid. You'll be fine," he said reassuringly.

"Everyone's safety?" Kasturi began to question. "You don't mean this Cirque get some 'usual attacks', do they?", if she means 'usual attacks' she means that this Cirque has been targeted by many for so long before she and Andrew came along. She smirks in satisfaction when she feels that this Cirque is going to be interesting as she thought it would. A couple of vampires, gargoyles, fairies, and anything else didn't bother her at all, it's just makes ever even excited about it.
Andrew scratched his eyes, "Grandpa....Bad dream..." "Oh? What was the dream all about?" Kasturi began to manipulate the little boy in getting information about his dead grandfather by telling his dreams, he did say that his family communicated him that they're dead by dreams. "Grandpa...dead." Andrew answered when he is fully awake from his dream.

"I don't know if 'usual' is the right word," Aidan said. "We've had some people try to take us down, but we've always won. And nobody's gotten seriously injured." Sure, some of their encounters left them with a few scrapes, but in every instance, the bad guys were defeated and the circus could come home happy. He glanced at Andrew as he awoke. It looked like he had been having a bad dream about his grandfather. Poor kid, Aidan thought. "Well, you can sleep soundly tonight lad, I can tell you that much," he said reassuringly. "You've got all sorts of magical folk protecting this place. Plus, you've got a feisty princess by your side, so that's gotta count for something." He gestured towards Kasturi. He was confident that she wouldn't let anything happen to Andrew as long as she was around.

"'Take us down'?!" Kasturi repeated what Aidan has said before. What does he mean by that? She doesn't believe that "some" people almost took them down for what reason. An incident came to her castle when a thief almost stole her sister's wand and almost won if she wasn't the one who fought the thief, but this is different from the people of the Cirque situation. The residents are quite many in her estimation, Aidan did say that there are supernatural people who are performing here.
She looked at Andrew who is too innocent to see what world he is living in, he almost died if she hadn't saved him. And now, they're in a Cirque that has a history of being in danger not just once. She is convinced that the people with magical powers can protect this place, but she is also worried about them not able to protect themselves. "Well, it's true that I can protect him. I have four sisters and I'm the second eldest of my siblings. I was the 'not-so-princess' type much to their dismay. I've been dreaming to become one of the Royal Guards someday so I can protect my family from anything, except that I'm a girl. Girls can't be rough and tough is what they always say, it's annoying for me." the princess said honestly to Aidan, being a girl is sort of a bad thing for her because of the teasing from the boys in her kingdom.
Come to think of it, she is curious about something. "Say, mind if you tell me what happened to the Cirque before we got here? You did said that there are people who wanted to 'take you down'. Why did they do that? What did they want from the Cirque?" she asked Aidan.

Kasturi's story was an interesting one. It seemed like she was the type of princess who liked to rebel against things, instead of just sitting around being pretty. Aidan had to admire that. He knew of a few circus members who also broke tradition and ended up coming here. He was sure Kasturi would fit in just fine.
"Well, I joined the circus a few years back. Facilier's probably dealt with some problems before I came along. People who want to take over the circus, or just want it gone. We had an organization like that some time ago. They were crazy fanatics who thought all supernaturals should be destroyed. But, they were defeated, and a few of their members decided to stay with us and offer us protection. Although we've had a few supernaturals try to take us out, too. We were against the actual Seven Deadly Sins for a while, and we recently had a witch try to nab up some children. Kind of nasty business." He paused, hoping he wasn't scaring Kasturi or Andrew. Some people might get frightened if they found out the circus had been attacked like this. "But, like I said, we've always won, and we've never lost anyone on our side."

So, first there's an organization that wants to exterminate them for being a supernatural. Then, there are some bunch of supernaturals as the bad guys taking in the name of the "Seven Deadly Sins"; if she could recall it they are namely Wrath, Sloth, Lust, Gluttony, Pride, Greed, and Envy. She wondered why they were called as that though, not sure if whether they're really called as that because they might be they're completely embodiments of the seven sins or it's just nothing but a group name. And is he serious about a witch kidnapping children?!
Kasturi's eyes became wide as plates from the last part, but immediately returned to her usual poker face expression. It's a natural response that some people get scared but tried not to show it completely, Kasturi is one of the people. "O...kay? Now I'm convinced about the whole worst case scenarios, and yet you 'won' from the fighting or something. It's the normal 'good always win and bad always lose' cliche..." She murmured from her mouth.
"B....Bad?" Andrew suddenly asked in curiosity. It's a surprise that he listened and understood the situation that the Cirque has and there is no sign of fear inside of him, just plain childish curiosity.

Aidan wasn't sure what Kasturi thought of all this. She mumbled something under her breath, but he couldn't catch what she said. He knew talking about all the people that the circus had gone after wasn't putting it in a positive light, but he figured it was better to tell the truth rather than lie, then have Kasturi find out about it later. That would only make her angry, and also distrustful of the circus in the future. It was better to be honest. Andrew piped up at that point, apparently listening in. "Yeah. Some bad people have tried to hurt us," Aidan told him. "But we've always won." He gave the kid a smile before standing up. "I think it's best if we save the rest of this conversation for the morning. You two need rest. If you have any questions, just let me or Facilier know. And don't worry, you can sleep soundly tonight. I assure you."

"Yeah, sure." The princess shrugged in response in having the conversation on the next day, she didn't mind about it since she is a little sleepy. Hopefully, Aidan's right about what he said about safety. Otherwise, she'll have to stay up all night to keep an eye of the boy and protect him. She grabbed a chair nearby and dragged it to Andrew's place, not that she felt embarrassed about having offered a bed. It is most likely that she is comfortable to sit on a chair, something that princesses don't usually do.
Andrew looked at her in curiosity, but Kasturi gently laid the boy down to the mattress. He was oddly stiff when she did it, probably out of fear. "Don't worry about it, Andrew. The old man's said that you're going to be fine. Besides, the bad guy's gonna have to go through me before he gets you." She reassures the child in making comfortable in a bed, he probably doesn't know how it feels like so he might feel weirdness in a soft bed. Thankfully, the little boy drifted to sleep peacefully.
"You go on ahead and sleep too, Aidan. Thanks for healing the boy, by the way." Kasturi thanked Aidan while continuing to watch the child before eventually drifting herself to sleep.
Andrew is sound asleep at last, until he said something to Aidan upon his sleep. It was loud enough for someone to hear it.
"Goodnight...grandpa..."
((Question: This might be the end thread after your reply, isn't it?))

Kasturi looked like she still had some questions, but she didn't say anything more. She just headed over closer to Andrew so she could keep an eye on him. Aidan had to appreciate her chivalry. Here she was, promising to protect a boy she had just met. Not everyone was so kind. "I'll see you two later," he said, giving a wave before heading out of sight.
((Yeah, we can end it here.))
