He shrugged. That seemed fine. "You seem anxious. I'm sorry" He sighed. He never could seem to do things properly. He'd come a long way from acting like one of the Unseelie, but he still had a long way to go still. He hoped he could so he would stop scaring people like Aurora away. "Your dancing is beautiful by the way. I remember that most clearly from our last meeting" Hopefully that would calm her down a little.

"You are not to blame. I have always been...shy." She was twirling a lock of blonde hair idly. It wasn't like she was going to get in trouble for talking with an UnSeelie; the courts pretty much made their opinions know of her. The only fairy who seemed to care from home was her mother, but even then she had stopped being a hoverer.

"And I've always put my foot in my mouth" he said wryly. "Then there's the cultural differences but I suppose we can talk about other things. Or I could leave you alone if you want" he still felt bad about her lost lover but didn't know how to help the incredibly shy girl. He was also a bit embarrassed by his mistake still , and for offending her.

Aurora looked at her toes. "I...I am not sure what I want you to do, to be honest." She didn't want to be alone, but at the same time she didn't want to bear her soul; the last person she did that to ended up dying to a monster. But Keats didn't know anything about addressing Faeries from the Seelie courts. But he was a black sheep in there, so perhaps there was that in common. "What...what else is there for us to talk about apart from our...sadness for ourselves?"

"Alright then" He remained sitting beside her, not really knowing what to do. He didn't want to just leave her there to her grief but at the same time it was getting hard to think of things to talk to Aurora about without being worried about offending her. He shrugged at her question. "We could always talk about what we like in the mortal realm away from the courts" He suggested. "I like the stories humans come up with, even if some of them are wrong, and I like how kind everyone is at the circus"

"...Not much to say about that honestly. But...it is much nicer than the courts." Aurora shrugged. The human world had too much going on in it that finding time to find something she liked was difficult. She could only think of one thing that she liked, but it brought back memories of someone she had lost recently. Hopefully, she could say it without bursting into tears. "I like how some areas in nature are meant to be preserved...I think humans call them game reservations, but I don't see very many games going on in there."

"I wholly agree about the courts" Keats said with feeling. He hadn't much liked the Unseelie courts with how dark everything was. It was dark and cruel there and he had largely found it unappealing. The only thing that had kept him from leaving had been one person, and they were gone. He smiled and nodded. "Well, I'm sure the animals play games there. I don't really know why they are called that either but I too like them" He neglected to tell her some were meant for hunting, and he occasionally hunted in them for food. It would more than likely only upset her and the last thing he wanted was that.

"That is...a very good point. Perhaps the grass is there to hide them from playing games in plain sight." Moving, talking animals were common on the circus grounds, but in the real world, it was something humans feared or didn't quite understand. "Well, how about you tell me something now. Something you like here."

"That may very well be the case" he responded, nodding slowly. For the magic creatures that probably lived in the game reserves, this was more than likely the case. He thought about what he liked on the mortal realm. He quite liked everything about it if he was perfectly honest. "...The music might be my favorite if I am honest. I like the fact there's more than dirges or chants to listen to"

Dirges and chants. The Unseelie courts had poor taste in music! It would become incredible droll and mundane to hear nothing but low voices in unison muttering in old languages. Aurora stuck out her tongue in agreement. "I do like some of the music...but I do not care for the tuned auto type. And the loud booming in clubs makes me nervous."

"No, autotune is incredibly annoying" Keats agreed with feeling. "But I like rock music and country. They are very different from Unseelie fare so I enjoy them" He nodded in more agreement with the club thing. He wasn't a fan of booming noises either. Though for him it reminded him of the war games the Morrigan sometimes had her court play. Those had been largely unpleasant for Keats and he hated being reminded of them. "I would rather soothing orchestral to booming loudness" He commented.

Aurora smiled weakly. At least they could agree on one thing when it came to human music. Why was it everything had to go from soft and melodious to just plain noise. "At least the cirque musicians care about the well being of us," she replied.

He had made her smile! albeit at weak one but he'd take what he could get. Maybe he was helping her, after all. "Yes, the cirque musicians take very good care of us with their melodies" he agreed. Keats looked around, trying to decide what to talk about. He really didn't have anything he could think of.

Aurora set her feet down from the bench to sit in a more relaxed state. Hmm...what else was there to talk about besides music? It was a pleasant topic, no doubt about it, but she felt like there needed to be something else to keep on this path to avoid silence. She hadn't exactly warmed up to Keats just yet, and it wasn't his Unseelie nature that held her back. It was just her own timidness.
"The smaller towns, like this place, are nice. I like them better than the cities."
