Molly nodded thoughtfully at his explanation. "I know that from experience" She sighed before thinking some more. "I kind of like that more, honestly. Instead of being all about battle or ruling over other dragons, you're far more laid back and nice. You aren't really violent or cruel or stoic. You're a good guy who cares about his friends. But...I guess when compared to other dragons and their perspectives, that might seem...weak" she winced and shook her head. "I don't think you are though, if that means anything"

Howl gave a little laugh. "I haven't met any full-blooded dragons, but that's probably the reaction I would get from them. They'd probably just call me a pansy and see if I tasted as good as fried sheep or something." He was glad to hear that Molly liked him the way he was, though. "Yeah, I try to keep that in mind. I mean, I'm only half-dragon, after all. I feel like I don't have to be exactly like one, you know? I feel like I can choose what I like about being a dragon and what I like about being a human and just...kind of go from there."

Molly smiled a bit. "I knew a dragon who would be envious of you. But yea, he'd probably fry you if he were still around" she laughed, feeling sad but not as bad as usual when she mentioned Slifer. Molly nodded. "I'm half rabbit-demon and half human, I have the best and worst of both worlds and I generally try to improve the qualities of both that I like, and overcome the weaknesses. It's not easy but it lets me be, well, me, you know?"

"Yes, exactly," Howl said, smiling. Molly seemed to know exactly what he was talking about. "I mean, you're probably one of a kind. And I am too. Or, close to it. I think Duncan is a half-dragon. But still. We don't really have a set of rules that we need to go by. Nothing's really laid out for us, so we just make our own path."

Molly blushed a little. "Not one of a kind, just rare. But thank you Howl"p She nodded. "Funny how all these hybrids and halflings are finding their way to the circus, huh? Like they know it's a safe place to find their own way and be their own person. It's great" Molly sighed a little. "I don't know what would have happened if I hadn'ot been found by this place, you know? Halflings aren't really tolerated in a lot of places"

"Yeah. I've noticed that too," Howl said. "I think that's what Facilier had in mind when he came up with the idea for the circus. He wanted to create a place where supernaturals could be safe from others. I guess over the years, the circus got other kinds of outcasts, whether they were supernatural or not." It was kind of interesting to think about. Supernaturals sometimes came here to be safe from humans. Some humans ended up here because they were trying to find a place where they could start over. The circus attracted all kinds of people who were, in most ways, outcasts.

She smiled and nodded a little. "I totally agree. And it's great! There are so many opportunities here than you can get anywhere else if you don't fit in. My options for what I wanted to do and what I could do went up big time when Dongwa found me and brought me to the circus. And it makes me happy when I see new people coming everyday and being able to grow, if that makes any sense" she laughed a bit, thinking of all the new people who were coming in and would come in, with problems of their own and an outcast status they could get rid of when they joined the circus. It was amazing.

"Glad to see somebody shares my enthusiasm," Howl said, smiling. "It's kind of amazing sometimes, that this circus is still up and running. I mean, it's probably seen it's fair share of Strato-Form like groups that want to blow it up or something. And yet, here we are."

"A dragon war from an enchanted prison, too" Molly stated simply. Nothing betrayed the underlying context or how she felt about it. "There were other things too, but it seems we've been allowed some respite from everything, so that's good" She smiled back at him. "I'm really glad this place hasn't been destroyed by all the people who tried to destroy it. I don't know where everyone would be now if it wasn't for this place"p Molly herself would probably still be on the streets or dead.

"Wow. Don't think I was around for that," Howl said. It sounded a little interesting, though. No doubt some of the fights the circus had gone through were kind of cool, although they probably weren't cool at the moment. Some time usually had to pass for these encounters to have a positive light.

"I think you came soon after that" Molly said, trying to remember. "I spent most of my time in the prison helping out. I came out of it for the last little bit...funny how the event is burned into my mind, but most of the details have blurred" she shrugged. "Belle was there too I believe, so if you want a better story of it, you can ask her" Molly still regarded the war as a bad thing, though the prison itself had some good memories for her. She still had the dragon-tooth necklace that Slifer had given her, wrapped up and placed in a special box all by itself. "I was in and out of the prison for a long time before the war, but none of the dragons who died were ones I knew" Molly was silent for a moment before shaking her head. "Okay! Enough about sad things! Let's talk about something happy again, please. If it's alright"

Molly seemed a little reluctant to talk about the dragon prison war thing. Howl wondered if something bad had happened. Maybe it was just another thing in Molly's past that she didn't want to talk about. Howl was fine with leaving it alone for now. He just hoped that one day, maybe Molly could tell him the things she kept to herself. He did want to get to know her better. But, she wanted to talk about something happy right now, and Howl was willing to oblige. "Okay. Um...have you checked out the rain forest near the circus? I've only been to it a few times, but boy, is it different from other ones we've been too. Half of the animals in there are ones I've only seen in pictures and stuff."

Molly smiled, relieved to be off the subject. One day, she'd tell him everything because he deserved it with putting up with her mood-swings and not commenting or pressing. But not quite yet. "I actually prefer living in the forests and woods by the circus. I tend to sleep in trees and the like and I happen to be good with animals so they don't bother me. I love it, but with my fur the rainforest gets really warm and I spend most of my time out of it when I'm not sleeping" she said smiling. "If you want to go exploring with me some time, I would love if you joined me some time" was that too forward? she hoped not.

Molly spent a lot of time in the woods? Howl hadn't known that. But he found it interesting. At first glance, Molly wouldn't seem like an outdoorsy kind of girl. "Sure, I'd love to," he said with a smile. "I'll probably stayed in my human form, though. Last time I went there, I went in my dragon form 'cause I thought they would relax a little more if I looked more like an animal. Big mistake. They took one look at me and got petrified. It was like I was a snake and they were all little mice or something."

Molly laughed. "Dragons are predators. They probably did think you were going to eat them. Just stay close to me and you'll be fine, mkay?" she hadn't spent time in the woods with another person for a very long time, this would be fun. "I would love to explore more, but the rainforest is a bit more dangerous than your average woods. It's safer to go with someone, so this will be great!"
