Stars were twinkling brightly in the night sky. It was all clear and the moon in crescent form was serene to watch over with. Under the cloudless horizon, a small figure was sitting in the meadow grass between the tents around the Cirque Mystique.
This kind of scenery was pleasant indeed, however, for a young boy named Chihiro Fujisaki, it was all plain sadness and it just reminding him of the night where his dad was arrested. Until now, he had no idea where his father was taken and his fault on accessing a confidential website was bugging his conscience every now and then.
He had been thinking on how to save him, but the question was hanging in the air; how come he would save his father if his own self could not move forward from his weakness? Until now, he was suffering with weak complex and still clueless to overcome it.
Then again, the young cross dresser just sighed a heavy one. Staying in dressing like a girl was indeed hard well in fact, he was really a boy. He pondered on until when he would stay like this.
For the first time, he gently laid his back in the ground while watching the stars above and even stargazing for his own fun.

Nighttime in the new place the cirque decided to camp tonight. Kenya's weather was something opposite of the chilliness of Salem, with warmth, even when the breeze was picking up. Better yet, it was a clear sky now as opposed to one polluted with smog from a faraway city. Nairobi was a capital city, but it wasn't as big as a larger neighorb.
It was an ideal sky for stargazing, which was Gaara was doing.
The stars gave him flashbacks to the middle east treks he had gone through. Gone through with...nasty family. As he ran a hand through his red hair, he saw he wasn't alone.

"I see the Cygnus!" Chihiro yelped while pointing his finger on the northern night sky. He was acting like an excited kid who was enjoying watching the night sky and gone through constellation hunting. A wide grin painted on his face and somehow... he temporarily forgot about his big problem.
He opened his palm in the mid-air, blocking half of his sight from the sky and his hand. He twirled it towards him, revealing the lines on his palm. They said that your fate was carved in your hands. And now, he was hoping the fate would tell him how we would save his father.
Closing his eyes, a short memory entered his mind. It was when he was a kid, where he and his father was on the rooftop on their house.
"Chihiro, look at there. Can you see that big drawing in the sky? That's the Orion, the Mighty Hunter."
"Mighty? Does it mean he is strong?"
"Yes, my son,"
"Can I be strong like him, too?"
"Of course you can, Chihiro."
By coincidence, the Orion constellation marked up on his vision exactly when opening his eyes. He felt a pain pricking his heart. "Strong"? Why couldn't do that now? Why he could not be strong for his father?
"I wish I could be strong like you, Orion." he said out loud without noticing he had accompany in the area.

Well, whoever this stranger was, they were very very excited about seeing the stars in the sky, particularly big constellations. Gaara, who had been meditating and minding his own business, glanced over in the direction of the young stargazer, who was now looking at the palm of...with the hair it was tricky to tell if it was a boy or a girl...the hand.
"...Um...who are you talking to?"
The question was straightforward. Gaara was never one of the dance around the bush people. He had never liked it in the past, especially given his...family's...constant going back and forth on him.

"Eh?!" Chihiro sat up on his stature, finally noticing that there he got an accompany in the area. Feeling embarrassed from being seen by someone during his procrastination, he scratched his cheek. Since he didn't know what to say, and not to mention that the young man's eyes were pretty intimidating, Chihiro just rose from his feet and took an apologizing bow.
"S-Sorry if my voice is too loud...! And if I disturbed you in some way..." Chihiro thought that he startled the young man from whatever he was doing before he was noticed. With that, he took another bow, "I'm sorry again..."

The stranger leapt up figuratively and literally. Apparently Raven's ability to sneak up on someone and startle them had finally rubbed off, and it was to a stranger. He held up a hand to the apologizing...boy, or at least the voice was masculine in tone beneath the timid apologies. But the gesture was ignored as the boy bent into a bow.
"There's no need for apology," Gaara answered calmly. "I'm the one who startled you, so I should be the one bowing."

Chihiro lifted his head and to see the young man again, now who claimed should be the one to apologize and not him. "Uhm... No need to apologize for I guess... I'm just watching the night sky and I'll also be going sooner or later... Ehehe..." Chihiro bite his lip, having no idea how to survive the sudden talk. Suddenly recalling the young man's question before he squeaked, "Well... I'm admiring Orion too much... I didn't notice that I said it out loud... Ahaha..." he felt embarrassed after answering the young man.

"Orion isn't in the sky," Gaara pointed to the stars above. "He appears only in the winter." Diverting the topic to the common ground of stargazing would make the awkwardness melt away. The bright star that was connected to the three side by side could easily be confused for Orion's bedazzled belt, but in the summer, it was something else. "That's the handle of the Little Dipper. Polaris is incredibly bright, so I can see why it would confuse you."

Chihiro flustered in embarrassment again, "O-Oh! My eyes betrayed me... Ah hehe... I thought it is Orion ahaha..." he looked up in the sky again, "Ursa Minor is tricking me." he said sugarcoating his words to avoid his naivety about stars. He was no an expert, but he was greatly admiring the stars. And this stranger, was greatly familiar about the night sky. "T-Thanks for correcting me, I can see that you seem grew up watching them and an expert from it also..." he said in timidly way. He pointed the bright Polaris, "That's the navigator's guide right? The North Star?"

Expert was a bit of a large assumption. This young boy was at least smart and eager to learn. It wasn't often that someone that wanted to actually learn and not rely on technology was around. Gaara ran a hand through his red hair, "When you've traveled in a desert for nine years, you learn to use the stars as your compass. And yes, Polaris is the best way to locate north. You may not be savvy, but at least you know that. Not many people your age do."

Chihiro's eyes widened in awe. "Wow... You are really an expert! Somehow you must know when the zodiacal belt is moving in seasons! Great!" He could not contain his joy, learning that there was actually a man before him who was a traveller, plus an expert in his opinion. "Uhm, well... My dad used to tell me about tales about the stars and he advised me to look at the Polaris if ever I will be lost somewhere and locate the north..." A short memory came to him, when he was forced to join a camping on his former school. That time he lost track of his fellow campers, and even his compass. He didn't read much of how to read the stars, he just relied on the North Star. It was sounding silly that he was able to go back in the camp even just following North and little use of gut feeling. "My dad also told me that I should still look back in the old ways so it won't be forgotten when the next generation came. But I still lack of knowledge about it... Uhm, sorry I talked too much!"

Gaara shook his head. This young one's naivety was somewhat...welcoming. In the past, he would have ignored such trivial ignorance and called it something else. But something had eased him over the years to tolerate this kind of behavior. Was it being a father to twins? Who knew. "Knowledge is something people your age take for granted. You don't need to be ashamed. Your father must have been a wise man to tell you all the stories of the stars."

"He is really wise! My dad is the one who taught everything I knew today." Chihiro said cheerfully. "And... My father is the one who always support me in every step I take... I hope I can help him in some way." He murmured the last part, resurfacing his arrested father. He now wondered what his father doing now, or how was he? Was he okay? Or... Was he still alive? Chihiro didn't know the answer from those questions, until he lifted his sight above, watching the starry night again.
"I wonder if he also see the sky tonight... I'm excited to hear his stories once again..." Chihiro said, turning his sight back to the young man, "Stars are really wonderful... Isn't it?" he voiced, smiling a faint smile.

Gaara said nothing. He did not share this young boy's enthusiasm for the stars. To him, the stars had been merely a compass, telling you which way the sun would rise and which way the closest town would be in a bank of sand. Also, the relationship this stranger had with his father was nothing like the one from his own youth. His father had thrown him to a vindictive uncle just for causing his wife to die in childbirth. He just stared at the twinkling lights, following the crooked line that made up Draco. How many stories had he been told about the dragon who ended up in the sky? So many variants existed.

"Ahaha... I guess I'm really saying too much..." Chihiro said, seeing that the man didn't answered him. He got a slight embarrassment agai n until he noticed that his fellow stargazer was locked up looking to the Draco in the sky. Another childish smile appeared on his lips and exclaimed, "Wow! You've spotted Draco easily! I'm getting hard on finding that one! Ehehe... Too bad Dad didn't mention anything about that constellation to me..." He said in dismay.
