Plan B - For Backup
(onlyafiction04 and trishiabidaure)
((trishiabidaure: Well, we kinda settle with having the conversation into a normal fan fiction since not only it will be long in a way of changing locations. And we don't think it's allowed to go back and forth, it's just plain silly and obvious that it's not okay to do that....So this happened.))
((onlyafiction04: Yeah, well we have talked this for a long time and we strictly followed the rules and no "god modding" happened during our talk with this. We have used two locations: The Sleeping tent and the Main Performance tent. The timeline of this fanfic was still following the Salem Plot since our characters entered the cirque in that arc. We are kinda "new" in the cirque by this time. I guess it was day 7 for Chihiro and trishiabidaure told me that this is the day 3 of Kasturi and Andrew. I hope you will enjoy this little fic of ours.))
Characters:
Chihiro Fujisaki
Puteri Limau Kasturi
Andrew Malus Dienheim
((Start thread))
Chihiro Fujisaki, the programmer who destroyed a highly confidential website was now in danger? Well, she was now at peace since she was living in the place called Cirque Mystique. It was a circus where those abandoned and wanted people were taking refuge. Yes, she was one of them. She was seeking refuge to save herself from the upcoming danger towards her or...
"Master! Master! Wake up! It's already 5 in the morning! We still have things to do! Master!"
The voice completely wake her up from her deep slumber. Slowly, she opened her eyes and complained by that noise. She turned beside and moved her hand on a side table. In that table, a netbook was opened and a face was on the screen; similar to her face, too. There was an annoyed head on the screen and most likely had the desire to scold the sleeping girl.
Chihiro lazily sat up as she faced her netbook and said, "You are so cruel, Alter Ego. You shall give me at least five more minutes to rest..." She yawned as she stood up and prepared herself up. From her pajamas, she was now dressed in her usual attire; green long sleeve blouse, brown skirt and knee length socks with a brown leather shoes, too. She took a bread from her bag and ate it. There was also a bottle of water in her bag as she took it also and finished her unlikely breakfast. She didn't want to bother King again to cook for her since it was still too early to wake him up, if ever.
Taking her netbook, she carefully left her tent; in a way that, she needed to avoid the wires or else she would tripped out. Well, there was a lot of mess on the floor and the "be careful" line was needed to get safely out.

Princess Kasturi was always an early bird; she was always the one who woke up at 3 in the morning to prepare herself for a day. It had been days when she joined the Cirque when she saved a little boy named "Andrew Malus Dienheim" from his death; so far, he was still getting used in walking. Not that he was almost disabled, but because he "forgot" how to walk based on what he said.
She changed her casual attire of wearing a green shirt and baggy pants along with her short sleeve blazer and a belt with a dagger sheath behind it. She was so far preparing Andrew's clothes, much to her dismay that he was now her responsibility to take care of him. She was thinking twice of saving him in the first place, but it was really against her morals to leave an almost naked boy on the road. She wasn't able to find a good wardrobe for him ever since day 2.
Andrew, meanwhile, was sleeping in his bed...more like a crib for a boy who looked like an 11 year old child. She was trying to suggest an extra bed until the crib was left; she had no choice and it was for his safety anyway.
"Andrew. Andrew, wake up. It's morning." the princess gently shook the little boy to wake him up. He sat up from his crib, and he was still wearing his old clothes in which Kasturi wanted to get rid off.
"Bad dream." Andrew said with his eyes still closed. Kasturi knew his usual nightmares being happening whenever he was asleep. The one thing that she was concern of.
"Oh really? What is it all about?" she picked him out of the crib and started to lead him to a bucket with water and a towel to wash him up. But, she was still being careful of his wounds...if ever there were any.
She removed his cloak as she jumped in surprise that there was something LITERALLY CARVED ON HIS BACK. It was an alchemy circle, which it looked like more of a triangle with 3 circles in each of the corner. Who could have done this to him so bad?!
She also saw more carvings on his right arm, by golly this has gone too far for her. She might as well guess everything had come from his Alchemy when he suddenly showed it to Facilier and Kasturi when applying for a job in the Cirque.
She washed him with water and put on his clothes that she was able to get from. Now, the boy was wearing a white sando under his brown jacket and his orange vest with pockets. He was also wearing brown jogging pants and orange and black shoes.
"Turn around," she said to him. When he faced the princess, he looked even more like a newborn baby. His white streak was still there, but she wouldn't mind. Now about the carvings on his arm...
She was able to have a bandage and gloves with her and good thing that the gloves matched his color. She wrapped his arms and placed the glove on his hand to lock the bandage in place.
Unknown to her that Andrew was playing with the bandage until it wrapped on his neck like a scarf.

It was still dark outside. Chihiro was walking in the quiet circus of the morning. The morning breeze was gently hushing on her ears which was giving her a soothing feeling. Apparently, she was heading towards the main tent to do her regular check-up on her devices if it was still in a good condition.
Since the first day that Dr. Facilier accepted her in the circus, she had been so hardworking and sometimes forgot to allocate time for herself. However, all this things that she was doing was to save his father. She could sacrifice everything and even her own happiness.
After some few minutes of walking, the large tent was entering her vision until she suddenly stopped.
"It has been a week already..." she said and sighed, "I hope something will happen unusual on this day..." Chihiro wished in a whisper. She was starting to look for something. Something. Just only something. And so, she continued her way towards her "working area".
°°°°
"What the heck?! Andrew, you weren't supposed to play with that. Geez." Kasturi saw the end result of what he did to the bandage that was on his neck. She was attempting to remove it, but Andrew promptly backed away from her. Without any seconds had passed, she started to chase him around the tent in order to remove the bandage, but he was too fast to be caught up.
Since he was just a child, she would settle with a bandage around his neck. Well, it didn't look bad either.
On his crib, there was a small strange trinket. Kasturi thought it must have been the necklace he wore. Probably, it was also important to him ever since he arrived because it was the only object he brought.
"Oi, you forgot your locket!" she called Andrew, in which he followed like a behaving child... strange. She placed his locket on his neck and surprisingly, he was really behave.
He looked to his locket with his two hands and stared at it for a while... Kasturi thought that he was missing his lost family. Ever since he came, his wounds and bruises would came from a family massacre especially he looked like he was violated.
She picked him up in her arms like carrying a baby and started to walk out to their sleeping tent and towards the main tent.
"By the way, you never told me your dream minutes ago. Or you just want to talk about it?" she asked Andrew while walking.
"I saw her, she and I talk a long time." he said plainly.
"Who's 'Her'?" she asked in a curious manner. Her lucky guess was his mother or his sister.
"Mama.”

Chihiro finally reached the main tent. As her usual routine in the large tent, she placed the netbook on a bench before climbing up on the stage and went to the backstage entrance to check the lightings.
"Good." She muttered to herself when she confirmed it was in a good condition. Next, she got her netbook on the bench and sulked inside the backstage. She looked for any fault in any smoking devices that were aligned from the entrance until the stage opening area.
"Okay... Scan Alter Ego." she said to herself while plugging a cable to the smoking devices that was connected into her netbook. Alter Ego, the artificial intelligence, emitted a confirmation sound. Without the programmer's awareness, the AI went haywire while scanning the said device.
°°°°
"O...kay?" Kasturi finally saw the main tent and dang it was big!
She laid Andrew down while trying to find a bench to sit on and clean her dagger. As of now, she would let the child wander around and stuff.
Andrew was given the privilege by Kasturi, of course he was a behaving child. He was running around the tent, while being careful not to trip over until he reached to the middle ring.
While enjoying his freedom, he saw a girl doing something with her gadget as the young boy got curious about it.
Andrew couldn't contain his curiosity as his feet commanded him to run towards her. By such any bad luck, he didn't become careful this time because he got tripped and flew over the stage.
Kasturi noticed that Andrew was going to fall in front of the girl as the smoking machine started to spark.
"Oi! LOOK OUT!" she cried.
Chihiro was busy on typing something on her netbook, but, suddenly, she was disrupted by a noise. Without a split second, she turned to the voice and saw a boy falling down on her. As instinct, she immediately grabbed her gadget away and accidentally unplugged the cable from the smoking machine; which resulted to a short circuit.
The short circuit from the machine was slowly growing into a flame until it grew into a huge fire.
"What the hell?!" the princess exclaimed suddenly. She was looking for the girl and Andrew, but the fire, well unfortunately, was blocking them.
Koff... Koff... Chihiro started to cough due to the unexpected fire that was created by that short circuit. Unknowingly, the cable was still plugged on her netbook and a fire was drawing near on it. Her face was in shock when she had seen it. She was trying to remove the cable but her hand couldn't pull it out. She was panicking and the fire was almost reaching her gadget.
Kasturi was able to see that the girl was in trouble. To help her out, she pulled her dagger from the sheath and threw it to the cable in which it cut off.
Andrew, meanwhile, was in trouble when the fire surrounded him like a ring as he couldn't move for some reason. His golden brown eyes were turning green and violet as a fading memory flashed from his eyes.
~It was fire that killed his family~
He started to hyperventilate as the flames were growing closer to him.
Chihiro immediately ran away from that area, while bringing her gadget. She was able to free herself from the suffocating smoke but... She noticed something different.
Why the fire is... on a circle? Chihiro thought on her mind until she recognized a small figure behind the destructive flames. "A boy?!" She voiced out loud and she went on a rush towards the circling flames.
Andrew was laying on the ground while staring at the ceiling. It was obvious that the little boy was getting suffocated. Kasturi saw Andrew on the circle and tried to reach him, but the hotness of the fire kept her stayed on her place. Until, she noticed that the little boy was slowly falling to unconsciousness.
"Andrew! ANDREW! Stay with us!" the princess cried for desperation.
"What can we do?!" Chihiro entered the scene and she couldn't get near in the flamed area. "We can't get near him! It's dangerous!" Chihiro was trying to pull out the girl who had been with the boy as she got a brilliant idea.
"Ah! That one!" Chihiro rushed towards the backstage and get a fire extinguisher. But too bad, her arms were too weak to carry it. "Help!" she cried.
Kasturi noticed the girl was having a fire extinguisher as she decided to help the girl. When she was able to carry it to the fire, she felt lazy to use the nozzle.
"Girl, cover your eyes!" she told the girl as she stabbed her dagger to the extinguisher that released those white liquid towards the fire.
Chihiro blinked. "H-Huh?!" The woman's instruction seemed to be still loading on her mind. She only decided to follow when the fire extinguisher had been stabbed by her and the white foam began to roam the whole area. After a few seconds of struggle on keeping her eyes close, a small explosion happened that produced a "boom" sound, but not too loud and incapable to wake others since the sound wasn't strong enough to reach the other tents.
Well, but not for those who were in that area. The impact was powerful enough to make Chihiro fell down on the ground and lost consciousness.
"What the?! OH FOR GOODNESS' SAKES, COME ON!" she screamed out loud as the fire on Andrew's place was out. He was able to breathe in again as his eyes turned back to normal. He saw the fire being spread out and probably the whole Cirque would be on fire. He wouldn't be able to see people if the fire killed them.
"Oi, wake up! Come on, you haven't breathed in to CO2 yet! ....Have you? WAKE UP!" she shook the unconscious girl for her to wake up, no good.
Andrew saw the girl... It clearly reminded of her somehow, someone he must remember from.
With determination in saving the girl, he stood in the middle of the stage as he closed his eyes with his arm crossed together and began to sing.
Hoshi ni toban el ragna
Banri wo koete kanata e
Hoshi ni yukan el ranga
Setsuna... Eikyuu wo
Kasturi saw a green circle hovering around Andrew. She was aware that he would use his Alchemy to put out the fire.
Nagare nagare itsukushimu
Mata seishi no yurikago de yawaku
Awadatsu
"He's using the Forbidden Magic." she whispered while holding the girl in her arms.
Aa...
Sen no toki no
Rinne no tabi
Tsunagi au Te to te sagashi motome
Kokoro kawashi
Ibuku kaze yo
Arata na sekai wo tobe
He violently released his arms wide as the circle released winds that put out the fire like blowing a candle; Kasturi came to know that his Alchemy was quite powerful.
The fire burned out and all they see are black. "We are so dead." Kasturi said.
It was only a short-lived lost of consciousness. Chihiro woke up within a second right after the fire in the stage was out. Her eyes fluttered open but her vision was still adjusting in the light. Her body wasn't used to any kind of explosion so the impact made some abnormality on her body adjustment.
Kasturi saw that the girl was now awake as she heavily sighed in relief. That was one good news, ever since the fire. Andrew looked at the girl in curiosity; curious that he was an inch close to her face. The princess seemed to be disturbed. It was what people called about romance; love at first sight.
"Okay okay! The girl's awake no need to stare at her, Andrew!" she pushed the boy away from the girl, in hopes that her redness on her face would disappear.
Chihiro's vision was finally adjusted, but, she was startled in a voice, completely near her. The first image she had seen was the brave woman, in her opinion, that was using a magical dagger. She saw that her face was rather angry and it made her nervous.
Gulp... Chihiro widened her eyes in fear. "S-Spare me!" She yelled hopelessly. She might thought that the woman was angry at her! But... She had done some mistake, didn't she?
Kasturi raised her brow in confusion. "Spare you? But I haven't do anything YET to hurt you! I'm just here to make sure you're okay for goodness sake!" she emphasised her "yet" since she was still getting used with people around in the Cirque.
Andrew became more curious, not because by her timidness, but because of how she sounded like... it was really reminding him of someone.
Meanwhile, Chihiro tried to stand up and get away from her as she bowed slightly on her. "S-Sorry i-if I did something wrong with you...!" Her voice was engraved in obvious nervousness. She just stopped on saying sorry when her netbook flashed on her mind. "M-My netbook!" She yelped as she turned back, and found her gadget there, broken. "N-No!"
Chihiro went towards the location of her netbook and carried it up. Her eyes widened once again; the screen was all in black. Totally black. She looked all over the system by pressing down some keys but it seemed not working. Even restarting it didn't work too and remained on that state.
Kasturi observed the girl's desperation to the gadget that some people used. She had no idea since there was no such thing as a laptop in her Kingdom. "Sorry about your gadget." she said in a monotone voice of hers. "Sorry too." Andrew followed her.
Chihiro was completely focused on her troubleshooting in her one and only tool for everything. However, everything was now busted as she slowly crumbling on her knees and totally seated down on the floor. "...It's not working anymore..." she whispered on herself. Her voice was dull or more likely feeling hopeless. Her head was lowered as her eyes were locked staring blankly on her so-called gadget as a tear escaped from her eyes. "I feel useless now..." She said like a dummy. "...Why simple fixing it doesn't working now...?" Her head lowered more, "...Dad..." A silent cry happened until all the images of her father rushed on her in an instant.
Her father in the jail.
Her father being tortured.
Her father crying for help.
Her father... In a pool of blood.
Her father... was in the jail.
Because of her mistake. And the only tool she could use to save her father... was now simply broken and futile, like her. Puddles of tears began to form in the floor as she was biting her lip to restrain herself not to create a sound.
She was crying. Why was she crying? Why did he reminded her of someone before? The questions came to Andrew's mind, and an answer just popped; make her happy.
"It's okay. It's gonna be okay." he said to her while smiling. "What the hell did I just saw here?" Kasturi asked herself. "It's okay! It's gonna be okay!" he said once more.
"And why he kept on saying that line?" she asked to herself once more. Of course it was comforting, but that was the only line where he came up to when he first came here. She thought that the boy couldn't speak, but he could...he was just being limited to short phrases. In this case, he spoke in a full language...somehow.
Andrew rushed to the little girl and..hugged her. Kasturi was in shock at first, normally boys didn't do that to girls. Hugging. Her face flushed in red from embarrassment. "It's okay! It's gonna be okay!" He said it again.
"It's gonna be okay...?" Chihiro repeated that line she heard. She seemed to be deaf for a meantime while somewhat grieving or thinking on the possible scenario that might happen on her father. She just felt a warm embrace behind her and the words of insurances kept on entering her mind.
Chihiro slightly glanced as in there, she saw a young boy, although everything was still blurry because of the tears that flooding her eyes. And somewhat, Chihiro felt some comfort. Her anxiousness decreased down and relaxed down a bit.
Kasturi wouldn't believe her eyes that Andrew was able to comfort the girl in just two moves: a hug, and saying that catchphrase all over again. She felt uncomfortable that she was watching a boy and a girl...hugging. It was super weird that her face turned red!
If late reaction was real, Chihiro was the best living proof of it. She wiped first her tears away and clearly saw the woman's face in red. She looked back on the boy who had been hugging her and stared back again at the woman. Now, it was her turn to get her face in red and suddenly pushed the boy away from her. She indignantly or might be embarrassingly stood up. "This is weird!" Chihiro exclaimed as her foot hit an object behind. She realized it was her netbook as she bent down and touched on it. Her face turned glum again with the thought that her gadget was broken because of two possible reasons; it was destroyed because of explosion... Or the operating system had shut down. But unfortunately, her face was still red for another unknown reason.
He was pushed so hard that he fell on the ground with deep confusion on his face. Why did she pushed him again?
"Yeah, super weird that you have to PUSH HIM." Kasturi said bluntly to the girl who pushed Andrew because she and the girl were so embarrassed by his actions, geez. "But still, we're sorry about what happened to your gadget." she remarked about her gadget being broken.
"Very sorry." Andrew looked at her as if he was sorry for real.
"This is not just a simple 'gadget' that you are saying miss..." Chihiro simply said with her kind voice, but, there was something hinted under what she said. She caressed her broken netbook and left out a long and deep sigh. Chihiro stood up quietly until she decided to go away. "Your sorry won't do no more. This is already broken and since the damage is serious, it is now impossible to fix this again." Chihiro casually said like nothing happened, "Besides. You have done nothing wrong to apologize for it in the first place... I must go…"
Just as the girl was about to leave, Andrew grabbed her hand and tried to pull her back to Kasturi, who was again flushed in red. She tried not to mind it, though. "Tch! Really now? One thing that I know about gadgets is that there is some plan B, it's a material after all and materials reproduce like making a baby through Intercourse."
Intercourse made Andrew curious of what it means, he asked the girl in curiosity. "What's intercour-" but it was cut off by Kasturi by pounding his head once. Intercouse was not what he wanted to know in a young age.
"Andrew Malus Dienheim, you have no rights to ask a girl of what Intercourse is!" she pressed his head even deeper as her face was really turning red for what he did. "A-ah! sorry!" he cried out loud.
"Eh?" Chihiro tilted her head because of Kasturi's strange bluntness of words. She didn't know how to react but she only knew that Kasturi got some point on something. The Plan B. "Gosh, why did I forgot about that..." She exclaimed to herself. "I was too stupid to forget about that... I'm a programmer to have that always...." A sense of relief filled her heart as the two bystanders were just looking at her quizzically.
"So you do have a Plan B?" Kasturi asked the girl. "Because if you do then, WHAT A RELIEF!" She said it sarcastically with her arms flailed to the air. Andrew looked at the girl with a smile.
The supposed to be a happy scene now, Chihiro fell gloomy again. It was true that there was a "Plan B" but, the question was...
"We only have half hour before the practice for the show right?" Chihiro asked towards the two. She had a feeling that they also knew about the practice because it had been spread all over the cirque. And also, this was her "day". The day where she would first attempt to test her "assignment" she programmed since she ever got in the cirque.
Kasturi looked at the tent opening to see the sun. "Obviously, yes. You can still make it." She said confidently. She was also going to participate for the practice. She was still going to practice her dagger. Even though it was already easy for her, maybe it was a fight from her boredom.
Andrew poked Chihiro's shoulders while smiling. "We help!" His offer of helping made Kasturi cringe, of course Andrew still had to practice his Alchemy. "We are going to help her, if she wants to. In which I HOPE you would."
Chihiro frowned second-mindedly. Her head lowered down a bit as her eyes became teary-eyed again.
Andrew saw that she was going to cry again, he thought that she was stressed about what happened to her gadget. He thought that it was his fault why she was going to get in trouble over a broken laptop. He put his hands over her shoulders. "It's okay! It's gonna be okay!" he said to her.
"JUST 30 MINUTES?!" Kasturi said to the girl in a boastful way. "Heck I would even have so much free time in 30 minutes!" She gently pushed Andrew away from the girl (in reality, she just wanted it to stop) and she placed her hands to the girl's head gently. "Besides, don't you hear what he said? "It's gonna be okay". We can help you, and everything will go back to the way it was. You don't have to worry at all. Don't give up!"
"Yes..." She said quietly, "...it's gonna be okay... If so... I beg for your help!"
"YES! Terbaik! Haha! Now we're talking!" Kasturi jumped in joy as she ruffled the girl's hair. "Of course, we'll help you to get that Plan B!" Andrew clapped his hands in happiness that they would help the girl. He looked at the girl and smiled.
For some unknown reason again, Chihiro touched her ruffled hair with a smile. She was feeling weird again because except of her father, no one had ever touched her head like that before. But she realized that she needed to work on the Plan B so she said, "Follow me please... The Plan B is on my tent..." Chihiro spun her heels towards another direction and beckoned Andrew and Kasturi to follow her.
Kasturi lifted Andrew like a mother carrying a baby and followed the girl's direction to her tent. One thing that Kasturi was curious about was what the girl's name was. "Hey, what's your name by the way?"
"My name is Chihiro, Chihiro Fujisaki..." Chihiro meekly answered as she glanced slightly.
"Chihiro huh? You're japanese then..." Kasturi noticed the girl's name sounded different from her name and Andrew's; hers was Malaysian while his were European. "The name's Puteri Limau Kasturi, it means Princess Kasturi of the Kingdom of Limau." she replied.
"Oh! Andrew. Malus. Dienheim!" Andrew raised his hand cheerfully while still being carried by Kasturi, and almost hit her in the face.
Chihiro giggled nervously. "I guess nice to meet you... Hime-san..." She addressed Kasturi as "princess" in her native language. "I was born in Tokyo but I was raised here in America because of my dad's work." she said, "Nice to meet you again... Hime-san and Andrew?"
"Nooooooope! Please don't "Hime-san" me. Just call me Kasturi, instead. I'm not the kind of princess who is girly much and wants to have a "Knight in shining armour" prince!" Kasturi was blushing when she felt embarrassed about the usual stereotype about Princesses.
"Kak!" Andrew pointed Kasturi that was meant "Big Sister", which the princess gave him a rough noggie to his hair.
"Uhm... Okay?" Chihiro frowned as she a sweat dropped from her cheek.
'She really seems not a bad girl...' Chihiro thought for a moment while watching the two having their so-called sibling's fight. "Ah okay, Kasturi...?" She called her again with a little uncertainty on her voice. However, her odd feeling towards the princess seemed to begone now since she learned she was really nice at all. She only got a rough behaviour outside but actually caring inside. That was what Chihiro thought again.
"Well, I can see my tent now. Let's hurry up!" Chihiro said as she pointed the small red-colored tent with yellow lines in the hem.
"How many times I have to tell you not to say that?!" Kasturi roughly ruffled Andrew's hair, especially the mysterious white streak in it was no safe for the princess' rough hands.
"Ehehehee! Kak!" Andrew was persistent in saying it until the two saw Chihiro's tent. Kasturi placed Andrew down as they ran towards it.
Chihiro, of course, came first to the tent as when she opened it, a sweat dropped again from her cheek. She remained in silence for a while, and a dark aura of hopelessness cloaked on her again.
Kasturi had her eyes widen as she stared at the terrible MESS in Chihiro's room. She took out her dagger which she activated into a sword, she stood in front of the two kids. "Chihiro get back, I think someone robbed your room."
Chihiro gaped in awe when she saw how Kasturi changed her dagger into a sword. 'Amazing...' Chihiro thought, '...How I wished I could be like her...' But, she set aside her amazement towards the older girl and went near Kasturi. "Uhm.... I think you are mistaken, Kasturi..."
"Eh? What do you mean by that?" Kasturi looked at Chihiro in confusion. "This place's a mess! Whoever done this will get a taste from my fist on whoever bullies a little girl!" She said as she curled her hand into a fist.
Andrew poked the girl's shoulders then pointed at the pile. "You did it?" he asked Chihiro.
"Uhh.... Actually..." Chihiro scratched her cheek, "...This is my tent and it is always like this..."
Kasturi realised what Chihiro actually meant. She felt like her jaw dropped when she found out. "Is she a girl to have a messy a room?" she thought to herself.
"Hard." Andrew pouted to figure out on how to get the Plan B in a messy room. Which was indeed HARD.
A sarcastic chuckle sounded inside Chihiro. "If she just only knew..." she whispered, just to herself only.
"Well, this room ain't gonna clean by themselves! I'd say we should start clean this mess and get that Plan B!" Kasturi stretched her body in excitement for the room being a challenge for her.
"Greasy elbow." Andrew stated in a wrong way, "It's Elbow Grease." in which Kasturi corrected him.
"Come on!" he hold Chihiro's hands and pulled to where the desktop was and start cleaning.
"A-ah! Okay!" She yelped in surprised when Andrew pulled her. Now, they started to search randomly in the room and Chihiro even fell down when she tripped down because of an object. She dived in the pool of random hardwares and wires.
"Next time Chihiro, clean your room..." Kasturi told Chihiro about having a messy room not good for a Programmer. She had no idea what the Plan B looked like. It can be a paper, another laptop, a phone, or any kind of gadgets she could think of. Andrew was picking pieces of flash drive and wires until he saw a small, green flash drive. "Other than that, what does the Plan B looks like?" Kasturi asked Chihiro.
Chihiro slightly sat up while wincing some pain. While complaining about her own clumsiness, she turned her head to look at Kasturi. "It is a green flashdrive. That's my Plan B.." She answered and scratched her cheek again. "I just wonder where did I put it..." She sighed and looked at the clock, "We only have 20 minutes left."
Andrew was about to place the Plan B on the table until he heard of what Chihiro said of what the Plan B looks like. The plan b was in the palm of his hands. He approached Chihiro until a piece of underwear (That Kasturi unintentionally threw without notice) got caught on his face, which he couldn't see. "Chi-Miss Chihiro!" he cried her name while trying to walk while not seeing where he was going until he bumped into Chihiro and fell on the floor.
"Whoa!!!" Chihiro screamed as she fell down again in the pool of strange mechanical equipments and wires. In such unfortunate situation, the wires circled in her whole body and a black box was triggered to fall down on a shelf; possibly could hit her dead down.
Kasturi rolled her eyes for Andrew's sudden clumsiness until she saw that a box was about to fall towards Chihiro. "Chihiro!" she screamed. Andrew saw the black box and tried to catch it from falling, but instead he was the one who got hit on the head.
"Andrew!" Chihiro screamed as she tried to stand up to help the boy, but the wire cabling around her kept her immobile. By her attempt to stand up again, it just made her fall once again and became useless like a mummy. The only difference in this situation were wires, instead of white bandages.
"Oh shoot." Kasturi ran towards Chihiro and untangled the wires around the girl. She looked at Andrew who was unconscious by the impact from the falling box. She saw blood on the side of his head while he was holding a green flash drive on his hand.
"Oh no..." Chihiro exclaimed under her breath. The blood within Andrew's head made the young programmer to feel guilty for dragging them on her problem. But, they were also responsible why her netbook was destroyed, right? But, she was also the one who caused the young boy to be hit by an AVR (the black box, now she realized it was an AVR) that made him unconscious, too. The gifted child of technologies slowly crawled towards the young boy to see him furthermore. She was about to ask a question to the older-sister like of the cheerful boy when Chihiro saw the object on Andrew's hand.
"Eureka!" Chihiro yelled in full delight.
"Oh good, you find the Plan B. Now can you help me with this boy in going back to the main tent because I'm going to be the first one to PERFORM?!" Kasturi sarcastically asked Chihiro in helping Andrew as she looked at the clock that was now 10 minutes before the time. The princess pulled out the glove on his right hand and unwrapped a bandage on Andrew's arm that reveals the carvings. She used the bandage to wrap Andrew's head, although she didn't even bother to clean his wound. Kasturi carried the boy in bridal style as she looked the still messy room and she sighed in dismay. "We'll clean your room after the show, let's go. He'll be okay in my opinion though, he'll wake up soon."
"Y-Yes!" Chihiro nodded incredulously. She took the flashdrive from Andrew's hand awhile ago and now she was holding it close to her heart. The shy and meek programmer stared at the young yet brave boy who saved her awhile ago.
"Arigatou..." She muttered lowly, as she turned to Kasturi, "Yes! We must hurry!"
For Chihiro, this day was only ordinary and usual like what she always spent her tone in the Cirque Mystique. Her usual routines; typing, programming, testing, asking the ringmaster and talking with other crew in the backstage. Waking up in the morning, eating then sleeping in the night.
But today, this was different. Today, it was unusual. For the past six days she had spent already here, this one was really dazzling on her opinion.
One, someone said, "it's gonna be okay!" Then, "we are glad to help you!" Those kind of words were totally forgotten on her memory many years ago.
But now, just what her gut feeling said on her heart.
"This time will be different." Chihiro promised to herself while looking on the backs of her new profound companions she just met a little while ago. Chihiro figured out, there were more things she would discover in her stay in the place that soon she would call home.
~ It was dark at first... He knew that he was one of those Memory Dreams again. He saw two girls; one had a light green hair and green eyes. She was laying sickly on the bed. The other one had blonde hair with green and violet eyes. The blonde haired girl was appearing to be crying for the girl on the bed.
“I thought I was fine with that, as long as I could save the world. But right now, I don’t want to disappear!” the sick girl began to cry while coughing blood.
"Then let me save you! Elfnein! Please don't die yet!" the girl who said "Elfnein" held her hand and begged to never give up.
"I understand about Life, we only live once. It's my turn now. Carol, please, don't forget me! Don't let grandpa and papa forget me!" Elfnein requested "Carol".
"Of course! I won't let grandpa and papa forget you! I promise!" Elfnein smiled because she trusted Carol. "It's okay! It's gonna be okay!" those are Carol's last words before Elfnein gave her last breath.
"Elfnein? ELFNEIN!"~
"ELFNEIN!" Andrew gasped in awake from his dream. He took deep breaths and looked around. He was back in the burned cirque. He saw Kasturi and Chihiro in wait for the participants for the practice, and probably wait for their reactions about the fire.
Chihiro... he kept on looking at her for no reason and he kept on smiling at her too.
She looked very familiar to him..someone. An apparition appeared right beside Chihiro like a ghost; it was a girl who was wearing a white dress and had green hair and eyes.
It was her.
"Elfnein?" he uttered quietly to his lips.
