Mozenrath was usually all for craziness under normal circumstance but as of late he'd prefer normalcy. Leida was out with her boyfriend which meant Mozenrath was in charge of cleaning which he did and in record time he felt like. As he relaxed and began making some dinner and green tea when he whipped out his phone pursing his lips before finally deciding to go through with it. He tested up someone he hadn't really seen in a long time and given the circumstances he was fine with a bit of distance but he needed some guy time when the other guy wasn't trying to hit on him.
He began finishing up the food the smell of cooked steak wafting through the home the smell of spices wafting as well as he finished up everything wondering if Gaara would want some so made sure to make a portion for him just in case. As he put the green tea off the table he relaxed in his chair for a bit before chuckling. Gaara had finally gotten Mozenrath hooked on the stuff and no he can't drink anything else it seemed.

In...out...in...out. Each inhale and exhale Gaara took cleared every memory from the Sands of Time. Because of people coming in and out for readings, there was onyl so much of people's lives Gaara could look at. And thanks to the help of his wife, meditation had been the perfect way to clean out each grain of the golden earth that had chosen him to be their bearer.
The exhale was cut into a snort as a Persian drumbeat resounded; his phone. Snapping out of his trance, the fortune teller read who it was from. Of course. Mozenrath. His "brother". Huffing, he rose, strapping his signature gourd to his back. The fragrance of cooking meat was coming from the houses, which was...probably mozenrath vooking. And, like he predicted, it was.
"You...summoned me?"

Mozenrath nearly jumped sky high when he turned to Gaara before almost bear hugging him. "I'm so glad you are safe Gaara" he said softly before letting him go and coughing rubbing the back of his head awkwardly. "Have you eaten anything? Been trying to avoid going in town as my performance garnered me way to many fangirls lately... at one point I would have loved it but now.... blech if I see one more girl squealing about how I am such a bad boy I might scream..." he said before chuckling a bit before pouring them both tea.
"Its green tea before you ask..." he said with a smile.

"I have to admit, you not wanting to soak in the spotlight is...a totally new side of you," Gaara admitted, brushing himself off after Mozenrath had ended the bear hug. He looked at the brew skeptically before finalyl settling down wordlessly, picking up the cup, watching the steam curl. "...not much to talk about, I'm afraid."

"Well considering what happened... while you were away" he spoke look towards the picture of him, Rue, and Leida before looking back at Gaara. His expression was wistful but not overly grief stricken. "I had to make choices whether to stay the same and keep living like a perpetual bachelor or be the father Leida needed... so I chose the later" he said softly sipping his own tea.

Even though his face was neutral, Gaara gave an understanding nod. On one hand, Mozenrath choosing family over his own selfish desires showed a sign of maturity, but on the other hand, he didn't have to do any of the hardships just to please Leida, who had been through enough. "While I may not understand the loss of one close to you, I can say that you have my condolences."

"I appreciate it brother..." he said turning back to Gaara sipping at his tea some more. "I feel like an old man some days... Just the other day i about crack a 'back in my day' line to a younger male singer." he said chuckling a bit. "I guess I have been here too long... I sometimes forget certain things like how we first met... though i do remember us almost wanting to tear each other to bits"

"That can be arranged..." Upon cue, the Sands of Time slithered out from the gourd, splashing into a puddle. In order to have both the fortune teller and the other sand maniuplator see the past, the golden arts would have to touch them both. After having seen Mozenrath's journey and deeming him safe, the living creations gently touched Mozenrath, like a child asking for attention. In the puddle of shifting rock, an image of both young men scowling at each other appeared. Gaara recognized his own annoyed voice from his past self growling 'Keep out of my way. The Sands chose me, and all you got was the scraps nobody wanted...'
The fortune teller in the present chuckled nervously. "My goodness, was I really that cold?"

"You were but I like to think Raven was the one who turned you a bit soft..." she said chuckling as her felt the presence of his brother's sand. He wouldn't lie it felt odd but at the same time it was comforting as he knew that he no longer held the taint he once had. "Not that i am complaining to be honest but we have both gotten older learn more become much more mature time changes even the hardest of hearts."

Gaara only huffed in reply. The Sands retreated back to their home - his gourd - and he capped it idly. "Raven was the first to break through the hard shell. I don't know how she did it, to be honest. I never opened up to her, never even talked to her except for once. Next thing you know, I've taken her as my wife and we have two children." Automatically his hand brushed back his red hair, tracing the old scar that wouldn't heal. 'Love.' That had been how Raven got to him, and it still astounded him.

"Love is a powerful and dangerous thing my friend can make the sanest people go crazy" he said chuckling a bit smiling. "I mean shot look at me i went on a murderous rampage in southern Sudan because a guy threatened to possible hurt my beau at the time then after that I went on a crazy goose chase trying to find another love interest who was with the wind" he said starting to burst in laughter. "Then again I was never really sane to start with.... being stuck in a crystal for two hundred years can do that you know"

The manical rant was something Gaara was used to from Mozenrath at this point. Rather than comment, the fortune teller nodded, taking a swig of the beverage provided for them before refilling it. "Two hundred years. In my old home, one would have confused you for a djinn." Desert travel left a mark on old legends. Then again, Turkey had been part of the Persian Empire for centuries...

"I never liked djinns you got to be careful when making wishes they like to abuse loopholes" he said sipping his tea seeming to relax a bit. "Well I'm glad to have survived that long to be honest... i would be a very sad...panda" he started giggling slightly giving away that it was his idea for the 'Uncle Panda' title given to Gaara by his quasi niece.

Gaara rolled his eyes. When Leida called him 'panda', it was tolerable. But when anyone called him that other than her, it was a bit...odd. He didn't even let his own children call him that. "The influence you have on your daughter is something I find...interesting..."

"Well I'm in reality the only person who took care of her for most of her life so in a way in makes sense" he said chuckling a bit. "Plus if you remember when she was little she had a hard time pronouncing your name right"
