Chihiro let himself cry a little bit more. He might slip out things on his unstable state. He wanted to say it to King in a proper way, without his emotions or "what if's" altering him. Feeling the warm with King's embrace, the programmer looked down until his tears finally run out. He frowned once again when he saw the fairy friend looking at him straight to the eyes, as he clutched his skirt in dismay, "I should say this sooner not later... It is better to say everything now cause I don't like to hide things anymore..." Even there was a hint of fear on his voice, he chose to collect courage on his heart. He expected all the worst case scenarios. This was no turning back. This was now or never. "I will say this because... I trust you more than anyone. Siblings should not kept each other secrets, right?" he smiled weakly, overcoming his inner fear.

King was, admittedly, nervous about what Chihiro was about to tell him "Right, they shouldn't." King hadn't been honest either. He hadn't told Chihiro what led up to his joining the cirque. He hadn't told her about his village, his sister, or his old friend. Chihiro had told him about his problem of his father being arrested, but King had told him nothing "I haven't told you everything about me either, I have to admit."

As his hiccup faded, Chihiro inhaled deeply once again. He was ready to tell his secret, however, he felt that he was the only one who always talk. "I have this sin on keeping a secret... S-Sorry really King..." Chihiro remained speechless on what King said next. It rose up some odd feeling on his heart towards his fairy friend, but, for now - no matter what - the important thing was to say his long time secret. "...Actually... Uhm... I-I'm not a girl that you always knew... I-I've been hiding my real identity..." Tears began to dwell once again on his eyes, whilst his chest began to tight up, "I... I... I... I'm actually... a boy... I'M SORRY KING FOR LYING! I'M SORRY!" Chihiro averted his gaze away, bracing himself for the possible consenquences. He didn't want to see the hatred on his eyes. He didn't want to hear anything from him. He believed that he didn't deserved to be his friend anymore. But, did King said that he would try to understand, right? But, he also said he could be angry also, didn't he? But he said he was like his sibling also, right? What if those words were not true at all? Wait, he had no right to accuse King from lying! He was the first one to lie by hiding his real identity!
With all those noises on his head, Chihiro left the stage all of the sudden and ran away. His vision was blurred from the tears. Without another split second, he tripped over an object and crashed on the ground hard. But he could not feel a pain or anything. He just wanted to go away. He just wanted to cry because only one thing was for sure, Chihiro was completely confused.

Chihiro wasn't a girl? It was a little startling, but King didn't really care about that. Chihiro's gender didn't really change who Chihiro was, and at the moment, King was more concerned about the fact that Chihiro took off, crying, afraid of King's reaction. Biting his lip, he flew fast in the direction that Chihiro ran off in "Chihiro, wait!" When he spotted Chihiro, he witnessed Chihiro trip. Lowering to the ground and running towards Chihrio, he helped him up "Is that...really what you were afraid I'd be mad about?" He shook his head "I'm not mad, and your gender doesn't change that you're my sibling. All that's changed is that you aren't my sister now, you're my brother." He wiped Chihiro's tears away "So, you can stop worrying about my reaction."

"You...are...not...mad?" Chihiro asked once again. He really did thought that he was going to be mad at him, but it confirmed that he was wrong. His eyes began to dwell tears again as he released it completely, "I thought... I thought... You'll be mad at me... People hate me because... I can't be a man!" he said, almost yelling, but he was just really trying to say it clear. He remembered the bully episodes from his past again, when he would end up sulking in the corner while restraining himself to the harsh words and prejudices he was receiving back then. "King... Thank you... Thank you..."

"No, I'm not mad, at all." King listened to Chihiro's reasoning for dressing as he did and gave a light smile. He hugged his friend to prove it "I'm glad you told me, and I understand why you didn't before." King really was glad that Chihiro had told him the truth. Keeping the secret from him clearly had done a number on Chihiro's anxiety over it, and now that the truth was out, Chihiro could calm down. But that also made him think "Does anyone else know?"

Chihiro sniffed his last cry, finally wiping the tear remnants from his face. He was glad that King was not indignant about it, and it made him feel secure when his fairy friend hugged him. "Thank you again, King... I feel better knowing it..."
When King asked him if some other people knew about this, he nodded his head hesitantly and slowly. He felt bad again that it was not his first friend who learned first of his secret. "...Yep... Dr. Facilier knew it from the start... Some learned it by just staring at me... then a friend saw my diary and learned about me... and the first guy who figured out my secret was... a guy named Gowther." Chihiro said honestly, as he remembered the mind reader again; recounting all the things that happened on their meet-up, back in Salem. "Sorry again for not letting you the first one to know this. Those happened by accidents...without my own initiative on confessing it."

King hugged him back, smiling "Well, I'm glad you feel better." King offered Chihiro chastiefol to hold "Here, you can hold chastiefol if it'll make you feel ever better."
It was no surprise that Facilier knew. If Chihiro had decided to not tell anyone else, he more than likely would have still told the ringmaster. King had to admit that he felt a little dumb when he heard that someone found out just by looking at Chihiro, and when he heard someone had read Chihiro's diary, that honestly made him heated. Why would someone read someone else's diary? The mind reader made him raise his eyebrows. But Chihiro didn't seem concerned about any of these people, so he didn't feel like he should we worried either "It's alright, Chihiro. It was a big secret and you were afraid, I understand."

"T-Thank you...again..." Chihiro accepted the Chastiefol as it made his heart warmth again. He was really thankful that King understood his reason why of keeping it. He was not wrong on putting his trust to his fairy friend and he was happy to have him as an older brother. "My heart felt lighter now you know. Thank you also for always being there for me...I am glad I put my trust on you 'cause we are best friends, and siblings..." A tear fell on his eyes, as he laughed on it and wiped it, "Sorry for being such a crybaby. I've been depended too much on you I think..."

King was happy that Chihiro felt better. This had seemed to tear him apart, and King was glad that he had met Chihiro to start with, feeling close to him, similar to how close he was with Elaine, and he wouldn't want anything to hurt Chihiro "I'm glad you trust me as much as you do. I trust you too." King smiled at him "You're not being a crybaby, and you haven't depended on me too much, I'm your 'sibling' remember? You're supposed to depend on me." With those tear filled eyes, Chihiro reminded him even more of Elaine "I don't mind. In fact, I encourage it. I'll be honest, you remind me a lot of my little sister."

Chihiro didn't really imagined that he would really get this close too much with King. With their small interactions with each other, they formed this kind of bond that Chihiro never had with anyone before. Except for someone years ago but it was only a short time he had spent with that someone. When he heard King mentioned about his sister and how he reminded him of her, Chihiro went curious. He just realized he still didn't know nothing about King, and now he regretted for not asking King because Chihiro was always the one who talk and talk. "Uhm... That's good to hear that you remember her from me..." he said, feeling unsure, "but if you don't mind... Can I know where she is now?" Chihiro almost bite his tongue, regretting for asking. He hoped he didn't ask something sensitive or anything that might be sound odd to his fairy friend.

"It's alright, Chihiro, I don't mind telling you. My sister, Elaine, she passed away almost," He counted the years in his head ", almost 21 years now." He smiled lightly at Chihiro "Don't worry, the resemblance in personality isn't the only reason I'm friends with you, and it's not the only reason I see you as my sibling." He wanted to be sure Chihiro knew he cared about him for him, not the resemblance to his sister.

Chihiro was astonished when King mentioned about his sister that passed away for 21 years already. He still didn't exist that time, but, King looked so youthful...but then again, if Facilier was an immortal, this kind of case should not be wonder anymore. King was a fairy, as Chihiro began to ponder the differences of their life span.
"I see... I'm sorry to hear that..." Chihiro looked down, learning about his sister. It must be hard for King losing someone, like when he lost his mother years ago. "...It's okay, actually I'm fine with it... At least I get to know you more. For me, reminding me from someone was special... I hope I didn't make you feel lonely about it." Chihiro said, hugging the Chastiefol ever tighter. He started to become curious on where King did came from. "I wonder what place you came from..."

King could tell that Chihiro was trying to see the difference in their ages "Let me stop you right there." He smiled "I'm technically 150 years old, but that's in human years, in my years, I'm 15." To him, he wasn't that old.
"I'm glad we got to know each other more, even if you didn't know it, your friendship was a huge help. As for the place I'm from," King answered Chihiro's wonder "I'm from a different realm, where fairies live apart from humans. My sister and I lived in a village full of our kind. But I hated having to stay there all the time. My sister tried to talk me out of it, but we got into a fight and I left. I left my sister and my best friend, Helbram, behind." Chihiro told him the truth, so it was time King told him about what happened to his village "While I was gone...everyone that was there that had wings was hunted down and taken by a knight. Fairy wings are very valuable...so their wings were ripped off and they were killed. Those without wings were killed as well. I came back to check on my sister and friend, but they were already dead, and the knight was still there. I don't have wings, I've never had wings, so was useless to him and he attacked me. I fought back best I could, but I was knocked off a cliff near the village and landed in the river."
Tears pricked at his eyes, but he blinked them back and swallowed the lump in his throat. He hadn't told anyone else what happened to his village, and speaking about it was bringing all the images of what he saw back into his mind, but Chihiro deserved to know what happened "I slipped into the human world, and I lost my memories for a while. I wandered around for 20 years, not knowing what had happened until I had a dream about it, and that brought all the memories back." He sighed "I ended up here eventually..."

His eyes widened in shock at his age. 150? But as king explained the conversion of the ages of humans and fairies, he sunk in the information immediately. He did not know if he still need to be surprise at all since most of the cirque members, if not immortal, they were magical creatures. He thought he must get used already of shocking stuffs in here.
Chihiro could not help but felt happy that King appreciated their friendhip a lot. He listened closely with King's story, and started to imagine how the fairy realm looked like. However it seemed impossible now that a villain terrorize their place. It must be also hard for his fairy friend to endure all the pain that his kind had gone through, adding on the death of his sister and best friend. And the wings? How selfish deed that the said knight had done? He didn't know what to feel right now. Anger, sadness? He never imagined that King was carrying this burden, heavier than him. He felt he was always seeking King's warmth to comfort him, but he still not doing anything for him as a friend.
Chihiro feel more sorry for his friend, looking at King was on the verge of crying. He wanted to comfort him, until, he placed his hand on King's head, caressing it. "There, there..." Chihiro said with a small smile, "...sorry for not realizing your pain... But, even you experienced those things... You are still standing upright with a brimming smile..."
"...I think after what all happened, there must be a reason behind it... we may not know but everything happens for a reason. Maybe if I hadn't met you I will still feel insecure about my real identity. There must be a positive light with all of these happenings..." he said, trying to cheer him up.
