Molly nodded, relief filled her. She didn't want anyone to leave, as selfish as it may have been. This was her home and the whole crique was her family. Kaya had been especially important to her, the eldest was her big sister.
"I'm glad, I don't want you to go back home." she said determined. "We are family, we need to stick together right?"
That's what her father had told her, sticking together with friends or family was the best way to come through the toughest times, and that is what everyone did here. No matter who was in trouble, everyone always tried to help them find a way out. No matter how dangerous, and that is what Molly truly appreciated.

Kaya nodded. "That's right," she said. She had a new family now, with Molly, Daxter, Jak. Although, if she was honest with herself, she would admit that she was probably closer with Jak than anybody else. He was one of her first friends here, and they understood each other. You couldn't find people like that every day.

Molly curled up next to her and smiled. Her mind drifted back to Jak and Daxter, she hadn't seen them around lately, they liked to be around each other, and while Molly was still just a kid she could kind of sense that there were some hidden feelings that Jak was hiding. Everyone had their demons but when was it okay to talk about it? Maybe there was more to it.
"How do you know when its a good time to talk about your past?" she asked. "I mean how did you know when to talk about what happened to you?"

"Well, it wasn't really planned," Kaya said. "Some things happened and...it just kind of came out, I guess. I was...in bad shape, and when my friends refused to leave until I explained what was going on, I guess I realized I couldn't hide it anymore." In hindsight though, Kaya felt like it had been a good time to reveal what had happened to her. After figuring that Esmeralda had been raped as well, and being overwhelmed by what the woman was feeling, Kaya had barely been able to hold herself together. Only after confessing to Jak, Daxter, and Aurora did she feel like she had finally gotten rid of the burden she had been carrying for so long.

Molly nodded, she didn't really understand it but she knew that pushing someone into talking was never a good thing to do. If someone wanted to talk then it would be better to let them find out when to talk. "So, it depends on the situation and if the person is ready to talk?"
Her dad never did talk about her mom's passing and how it had effected him, however Molly could always tell when it was bothering him. He would hide the photos of his wife or go out for long walks mainly in the rain.
"I wish I could be an empath sometimes. Maybe I could talk to people who are hurting."
(i need to hug these two. I love their sisterly combination so much)

((Me too. They're so adorable. )) "Yeah," Kaya replied. "If they've got a few friends who will listen without judging them, a person is more willing to talk about something difficult, even if they feel like they may never be ready for it." She gave a little chuckle at Molly wishing to be an empath. "Well, it's one thing to know how someone is feeling. It's a whole other thing to figure out how to help them. I feel people's negative emotions all the time, and I'm never sure what to say to make them feel better. If you know them though, it makes the job a whole lot easier."

[omg i am so sorry about that. my muse for here is like no where]
Molly nodded, that made so much sense, it was clear that if someone had a bad past it would be hard to talk about it to others. Especially to an empath, how could anyone talk about something like that to another who could feel every emotion. "I bet it gets a bit overwhelming." Molly said sympathtically. "Feeling all those emotions and not being able to do anything about it. But i am sure that a part of them would be glad to know they didn't have to face it alone."
Maybe they didn't need to know that kind of thing, but an empath was probably the best person to understand what kind of turmoils a person would face in their minds.
"I think that the circus is glad to have you. I know i am. Your like the best sister I could have asked for."

The way Molly was talking, it made it seem like she thought of Kaya as some kind of guidance counselor or something. Could she do that, with her powers? The idea seemed a little daunting. Not to mention, she still got a little shy around strangers sometimes. Maybe it was best to fix her own problems before trying to solve somebody else's. After all, she was still trying to figure out what to do with her relationship with Jak. Still, she felt touched when Molly said she was like a sister to her. Kaya had never had any siblings growing up, but she felt like she had settled into the role of a big sister pretty eaisly when it came to Molly. Despite both of them being pretty alone when they had first gotten here, they had managed to find each other and bond. "You're a great sister too," she said, smiling.

Molly smiled before getting up on her knees and hugging the girl as best as she could. The dreamweaver was glad to have someone who could treat her like that, and to accept the role of an older sibling. Having only a father, she had never thought about having other siblings but now it felt like the happiest thing in the world.

Kaya could practically feel the happiness radiating off of Molly as she hugged her. Kaya hugged her back just as tightly. Even if things were a little uncertain with Jak, at least she still had Molly by her side. The little girl had brought her so much joy. However, she noticed that the sun was starting to set. She hadn't realized how much time had passed. "Looks like it's getting late," she said as she stood up. "Want to head back?" She held her hand out to Molly.

"Yeah, i bet things are starting to get ready for our next show." She said happily, dusting herself off. The circus and Kaya were the best thing to happen to her and she was glad that nothing had taken her away from that. "I hope we get to blow people away with our show!"

Kaya smiled as she took Molly's hand in hers. "I'm sure they'll love it. Facilier certainly has a way of making them like it." After having this circus open for over twenty years, Facilier had certainly managed to perfect what audiences would love. Of course, it helped to have someone like her out there, so she could gauge their emotions. Even though she was never in the spotlight, Kaya preferred what she did. Making ads and figuring out how people felt about them, along with the performance, felt like enough of a contribution to her. Although really, her favorite part of the circus was the friends she had made and the people she had bonded with. They were really what kept her here, and she was glad to have them in her life.
