Tony's face betrayed a small hint of surprise, with a twinge of fear, as he was knocked to the ground. In a way, it was nice to see Justin's skills hadn't dulled since his departure from Strato-Form. If the situation hadn't involved his life being threatened, he might've appreciated the moment even more.
"And there it is," Tony said as he looked into Justin's fury-filled eyes, "the animal inside you, taking your best qualities and shoving them to the back of your brain. It's too bad you left our good graces when you did. I'm certain we could've found a way to purge that particular flaw from your brain, and give you true independence from your beastly side."
Without allowing Justin the chance to answer, Tony activated a small device in his pocket, that began emitting a distinct beeping sound. As soon as the sound was heard, Justin's body was enveloped by column's of light, whisking him away in mere moments.
"Then again," Tony said to himself, "maybe we still can."
Hitting Kenoko and Renamon proved much more difficult for the two guard droids. Their basic programming left them unable to accurately predict their movements, or out-maneuver them. They slowly pursued after the two cirque members, their movements stiff and rigid as they reached a fast-walking pace. But, as soon as they began chasing after them, both Renamon and Kenoko were surrounded by motes of a white light as they were teleported out of the hallway.
Justin, Kenoko, and Renamon reappeared in three separate containment cells. They appeared to be large cylinders, made of a clear material that resembled fiberglass, but proved much sturdier. At first, the darkness covered much of the room they were in, with only three bright lights above them serving as their source of illumination. But then, the sudden sounds of hydraulics could be heard inside the room, just beyond the field of vision. The sound began to draw closer, and the light then revealed GLaDOS's form, staring intently at them through her singular, yellow eye.
"Well, well, well," GLaDOS said in a sinister voice, "what guests have decided to grace my humble abode?"

Renamon was starting to get cocky and was actually starting to believe she'd make it out with Kenoko. "Come on cyberboys don't tell me you're that useless." Before Renamon's eyes the area around changed to glass cells. Because Renamon had been running, her force slammed her into the wall. As she looked around trying to readjust to her new surroundings. Kenoko was no longer under Renamon's arm and she searched around widly for her. It was at that moment that Renamon heard the voice and looked around for the person to go with it and saw a figure appear. "Let me out of this cell and I'll show you exactly who." Renamon's helmet was getting hot so she removed it quickly and took a quick breath. Something had malfunctioned in the breathing unit.
Kenoko was already out of it but the teleportation made it worse. She held her head and tried to relac her brain and keep it from making her go unconscious. When the voice spoke, for some reason i9t sounded pleasant to a small part of her brain. The robotic part of her voice appealed to her subconscious and Kenoko couldn't figure out why. Kenoko curled up and began to cry.

By the time the beeping registered in his mind, it was too late. Justin changed into his rat form hoping that being a smaller target would help, but it was no use. He looked around the cell for a way out struggling to keep his rat side from panicking. If that happened he'd never get out. At GLaDOS's voice rage and fear coursed through his veins. He shifted back into his human form. "Hello again GLaDOS." He said coldly.
Robin swore. He tried his best to follow the path of the beam from the roof. He swore again when he couldn't follow it. He turned into his humanish form and began to pace the window sill he was on, trying to think of what to do next. His ear twitched at a female voice. He followed it until he was looking into a room with three cells.

It wasn't long until another column of lights appeared, and Tony Stark materialized into the room himself; the look of smug, self-confidence was as clear as day on his face.
"GLaDOS," he said, looking at Renamon, "You didn't tell me we had a third guest tonight."
"She invited herself," GLaDOS responded, "as did our mutual rat friend, here."
Tony let out a quick sigh as he tugged lightly on his jacket, "It's probably just as well. Best to diffuse this situation as quickly as we can."
"Agreed," GLaDOS said flatly.
Tony then turned towards Justin, looking him square in the eye, "Now, I don't know the full nature of your relation to the other members of Cirque Mystique. Quite frankly, I'd imagine you kept to yourself mostly, as would be expected of your nature. However, I'd imagine they know you well enough to listen to your opinion. So I suggest, when you see them next, to tell them that its best that they cooperate with us. Tell them in detail about the futility of resisting against us, and the consequences that come with trying to defy us."
Tony then gave a snap of his fingers. Almost immediately, a pair of grasping, metal arms descended from the ceiling, moving towards Kenoko. A section of the glass walls of her cell descended into the floor, and the two arms grasped Kenoko's wrists tightly, slowly lifting her in the air. As she was lead towards the center of the room, GLaDOS seemed to keep her single eye trained on Kenoko, betraying a sense of keen interest in the young girl.

Renamon snarled and banged her fists against the glass. "Don't you touch her you sick creatures." She kept punching her cell walls until her fists hurt and glared with a look of death at Tony. "You're a monster."
Kenoko didn't move when she was lifted. "I don't remember who I am. Something is different, and I don't know what." Kenoko stared at the figure of gLADOS quizzically. "Who are you?" She felt like she needed to know.

"Oh so you're just going to let me out so I can tell them your message? How nice of you." Justin said with a snide tone. "I don't think so." He smiled to himself when he saw a knife on the table behind Tony. Using the new found ability he began to levitate the knife and started to make it move toward the back of his captors head. "You know nothing about me Stark. I'm no longer a scared rat running around in a maze for your amusement."
Robin had seen enough. He needed to go back to the cirque and get help. Without a sound he lept down from the ledge and ran back to the cirque. "I'll come back for all of you." He promised.

Tony smirked as he held his hands behind his back, "I'm certain your talents have far exceeded what you were when we started. And its good to know you've lost your fear. I like test subjects who aren't afraid of death. But tell me, what would happen...if I threatened their lives?"
As he spoke, Tony casually strolled towards Kenoko's holding cell, acting completely oblivious to the dagger floating near his head. He gave her cell a light tap, just to see how she, and more importantly Justin, would react.
"I suggest you both take a moment to carefully examine your situation," GLaDOS said, "unless of course you don't wish your friends to be returned to you unharmed."

Renamon snarled as her claws broke through her gloves as she scratched at the glass. "You let her go you sick demented toaster." Renamon knew insulting the computer was probably not a good idea but she was furious now. "You gonna do to us the same thing you did to that poor little girl?" the thought made her shutter of having her biological self replaced with all mechanical pieces.
Kenoko watched the man by her cell as he walked around and tapped on the glass. Kenoko's eyes began to glow as her eyes began to break down everything she was seeing before her: vital signs, heat signatures and emotions. They were all being read and displayed in Kenoko's mind.

"Leave her alone Stark!" Justin said through gritted teeth. "You've already scared her enough and Gods know what you've already done to her." He was furious. His hold on the knife was faltering. With a grunt he heaved it at Tony hoping against hope that it would make contact.

Tony didn't even react as the knife flew towards the back of his head. In seconds, however, the knife was intercepted by a shield that suddenly formed between himself and the flying projectile. The tapping sound of the knife dropping to the floor seemed to echo throughout the chamber.
"So sorry about that, dear Justin," GLaDOS said sarcastically, "but I would hate for anything to happen to my dear employer at this juncture."
"Indeed," Tony added, his smirk ever present on his face, "As for our little friend, here, I'm afraid the work is already done."
No sooner had he spoke, he pulled out his remote, and activated a holographic display for the prisoners to see. It was Kenoko's body was displayed for them, only it was an X-ray view of the little girl. Only it didn't show flesh and bone, what they saw was far more terrifying. The poor girl's body had been transformed; in place of her bones were now steal rods lined with hydraulic tubes and pumps. Her muscles were now circuits with lights and wires. Only a few of her organs were intact, now trapped inside containers of cold metal, leaving her other bodily functions managed by small machines. Virtually all of her body had been transformed. She was no longer the person she was when she was brought here.
"Considering how healthy your friend appears to be, I'd say GLaDOS did an excellent job, wouldn't you agree?" Tony asked, looking squarely at Justin.
"Oh, you flatterer," GLaDOS said with a disconcerting giggle.

Renamon ripped off her gloves and ran her claws down the glass to no avail. The anger was bursting inside her as her eyes glowed with anger. With a howl of anger she summoned a wall of diamonds around her and began shooting them at the glass walls around her. "You will release me let all the cirque members go!" He voice was coming out in more of a growl than a normal voice.
Kenoko hadn't moved for a while but as soon as she heard the sound of howling she moved her hands to her ears and began crying. "Make it stop! make the sound stop it hurts." Tears streamed down her face as she rocked back and forth in the air cringing from the sounds being made in the nearby container. Kenoko looked pleadingly from Renamon, to Justin, to Stark and finally back to GLaDOS. "Please."

Justin only had time to shoot a glare at Stark before his body began to thrash in pain. It seemed that any type of magic used against Tony in this room would cause in an electric shock. "G.....go to hell Stark." He said between clenched teeth. As soon as it started the electric shock stopped. Justin stood panting.

Tony gave a smug look over at Justin and Renamon. It was important to maintain the air of superiority around his enemies; angered enemies were always easy to manipulate.
"Believe me," Tony said, gesturing towards Kenoko's x-rays, "this is just a taste of what awaits you and your friends, here. And while I am intrigued by the thought of seeing how your friends would fair under such experiments, I am not above mercy. I will deliver you three into the cell your friends are currently occupying. If you wish to leave here peacefully, you'll have to have a talk with your friend, Esmeralda, and-."
Just then, the doors began to screech as they were slowly forced open. The sound caught Tony off guard, and his superior look was replaced by a hint of dread. It wasn't long before the doors were fully opened, and Alpha-7, followed by Gun-Max, made her way into the room.
"Stark!" Alpha-7 yelled angrily, her eyes blazing.
Tony gave a light tug on his collar before answering, "Alpha, this is hardly the time-."
"What the hell do you think you're doing?!" Alpha-7 fumed, "Why are you attacking the cirque?!"
Tony turned away from Alpha-7, hoping to avoid a confrontation, "Alpha, I'm not interested in discussing-."
"Don't give me that crap!" Alpha-7 yelled, placing herself right in Tony's face, "You never said anything about..."
Alpha-7's anger seemed to suddenly dissipate. Her eyes had drifted towards the screen behind Tony, showing Kenoko's x-rays, and the cybernetic implants placed inside her. Alpha-7's face turned pale as she stared at the screen, then at Kenoko. For what seemed like an eternity, Alpha-7 didn't even blink as her thoughts spun around her head.
Gun-Max also looked in the direction Alpha-7 had been staring; his face seemed hard to read as he stared, fixated on the images on the screen.
Small beads of sweat began to form on Tony's forehead; he felt a sudden sense of urgency as he turned back towards Justin and Renamon, "I've made my offer to Esmeralda. Tell her to accept it or-URK!"
Tony was cut off by a sudden sensation of his windpipes being closed. His hands immediately went to his throat, and he felt a cold, metal hand, slowly squeezing the life out of him. The force-field that was meant to protect him failed to stop Alpha-7's new mega-parts. Now, it was he who was at the mercy of someone else; his own subordinate.
"You...bastard..." Alpha-7 said, her voice shaking.
"Alpha..." Tony gasped as he desperately tried to pull her hand away, "I can...explain..."
"You gave your word," Alpha-7 spoke, tears starting to well up in her eyes, "that you would never do experiments like that again! You gave your word!!"
Tony tried to speak again, but Alpha-7's grip suddenly tightened, leaving him only capable of making gagging noises as his face began turning bright red.
"Oh, Gun-Max," GLaDOS said, "would you be a dear and stop your friend from killing your employer."
Gun-Max didn't respond at first, still staring at the screen in front of him. Then, after a brief pause, Gun-Max drew his revolver off his hip, and pointed it right at GLaDOS.
"Oh great," GLaDOS said exasperatedly, "the toy cop is malfunctioning."
Gun-Max responded in a low and angry voice, "Law Enforcement Protocol, Priorities 1, 2, and 3: Serve justice, protect the innocent, uphold the law. These priorities must be followed and enforced by any means necessary. In the event of failing to meet priorities 2 or 3, priority 1 takes full precedent until satisfied. GLaDOS, you are hereby charged with kidnapping, assault, torture, and wrongful imprisonment, and are thus placed under arrest. As you can see, I'm working just fine!"
Alpha-7 looked over at Gun-Max, and her anger was tempered, if only slightly. She then turned back to Tony, "I'll see you burn for what you've done."
"I'm afraid I can't allow that," GLaDOS said in a more menacing tone, "'Caroline'."
All of a sudden, sparks of electricity began emanating from both Alpha-7's and Gun-Max's bodies. They arched backwards, their screams suddenly filling the room. Unfortunately for them, the possibility of them rebelling was not lost on GLaDOS, who had taken the opportunity of installing obedience chips into their systems without their knowing. This sudden realization did them little good as they the electricity coursed through their bodies. After about half a minute of this, the chips short circuited, and they both dropped to the floor, unconscious.
Tony coughed and gasped for a moment, then turned towards GLaDOS, "Took you long enough."
"Sorry," GLaDOS said sarcastically, "I guess I was just too startled by the turn of events."
Tony gave a hard look at GLaDOS as he massaged his sore throat, then looked down at his former subordinates. He felt it a shame it had to happen like this. It probably would've been impossible to hide this from them for long. Tony would feel glad once this mission was over.
"Put 'em all in the cell," Tony said bitterly as he made his way out the room.
"What about these two?" GLaDOS asked, referring to Alpha-7 and Gun-Max.
"Like I said," Tony responded, "put 'em all in the cell."
