Before GLaDOS could answer, the doors to the medical bay opened, revealing Captain America. His look quickly turned to surprise upon seeing Xanatos in the room.
"Um-," Captain America stammered, "forgive me, I was just-."
"It's alright, Captain," GLaDOS said quickly, "Mr. Xanatos was just saying he felt it was time for him and his guest to depart. If you'll remove the sensors, I can prepare her for departure."
"Of course," the Captain said after a quick cough, "I'll get right on it."
As he moved towards the bed, the Captain warily glanced over in Xanatos' direction. He didn't say anything, but the sense of recognition he felt was unwavering. He'd never met the man before, but he did remember seeing his face. It must've been a magazine cover he casually looked at, or some random billboard. Either way, he knew this man's face. And to see it now, after over 70 years, almost unchanged; it was eerie to say the least.
The Captain was sure to make quick work removing the sensors of Sally's arms and neck, making certain his back hid most of Sally's upper torso, "Try to relax, ma'am."
As he worked, the Captain discretely pinned a small tracer on the collar of Sally's dress, near the shoulder area. The tracer was small, paper thin, and seemed to immediately camouflage itself as soon as the Captain's fingers pulled away.
"It's going to be alright ma'am," Captain America said, giving Sally a stern, yet sympathetic look, "everything's going to be fine."
"Thank you, Captain," GLaDOS said, "that will be all."
Captain America gave a nod towards the ceiling. He was still not too comfortable not having seen GLaDOS's face as of yet, but this was apparently how she liked to keep things, so he found little point in trying to argue the point. After a quick nod towards Xanatos, he quickly made his exit.
"Well, it's as you say," GLaDOS said as the clamps holding down Sally released, "it's time to conclude our business. Of course, now that you've given Tony what he wants, there's still the matter of your promise to me."
