'So, Esmeralda and Belle are the leaders? Who died and made them in charge?' Gia's thoughts surprised her, they were much more selfish and filled with emotion than she was used to. She finished rubbing her head and jumped to her feet, her balance surprisingly superb. She looked confident, much more than her days before. She walked forward, like the place was her home and everything in it belonged to her or her family. She marched to the table and took a piece of paper, crumbling it up and tossing it up and down in one hand. "Great, so we've got a bunch of prisoners. Look, we're captured, not dead. I don't know about you, but I plan on escaping. Anyone up for a thinking session?" She suggested, looking behind her at the others.
Gia wasn't sure why she felt so alone, or different than the others. Surely she wasn't the only one who went through a strange transformation, or was stuck in a certain form. There was just something so right about this body, she was confident in it and almost proud. This made her remember her days as a cub, wild and free, striving to be the leader of her pack just like her father. She went over to the force field and tossed the piece of paper at it. She pondered the reaction of the bars, then set down, running her fingers along the strange marking at the bottom of the cell. She started scratching at one of the lines, trying to break this strange pattern, maybe it would hold an answer. She didn't have very effective claws, so even after awhile, she barely chipped at the stone. She then stood, giving up for the time being, and went over to inspect Jing's restraints. "Interesting-" She commented to nobody really, sniffing at restraints.

A few minutes after the recorded message ended, a set of metal doors opened at the far end of the room, a small distance away from their cell. A single silhouette was visible for a brief moment before the doors closed. In the darkness, the individual's footsteps could be heard, with the sound of metal tapping against metal, as he made his way towards the cell.
"Computer, lights."
No sooner after the command had been given, several unseen light sources produced a low lighting around the cell, illuminating the surrounding area. The lights revealed the individual to be Gun-Max, Team-X's android enforcer. He was manning a computer station near the cell, standing erect as he looked over the controls.
"Morning, everyone," Gun-Max said in a casual tone, not bothering to look up at them, "hope you all enjoyed your rest."
He started with a routine maintenance check, making sure the cell was still in working order. So far, it appeared everything was working perfectly, and the cell was at pique efficiency. He then looked up towards the different cirque members. His biggest concern was Jing; after he had run his usual background check on their new guests, his shock upon learning about Jing's criminal history put him on edge. He only hoped those restraints would be enough to curb him. Another interesting note was Gia. She appeared to be adjusting well to her new body, or rather, her original body. He could only imagine what must've been going through her head at that moment.
Other than that, their reactions seemed within expected parameters. Gun-Max looked back down at his controls as he began running scans of the cirque members.

Belle's face fell at Gia's retort. Deep down, she questioned why Esmeralda and her had begun taking the reins. Belle knew nothing about this group of creeps that had them all crammed in one room - and a couple of them shackled like Jing and Raven - and what exactly was in store, but she knew escaping here would be even more dangerous than the "experiments". A flash of light blinded her temporarily, in which the whole room became open. Before them was one of the men who attacked them at the wedding; Gun-Max. In one hand was the complaint form, getting even more creased with each clench. "If by rest, you mean forced coma," Belle murmured under her breath.

Jing looked up from Molly to the out-spoken cat-girl. He didn't recognize her, but she sounded rather familiar. Ah, well. He'd know everyone's names by the end of this, he had a feeling. "That's not very nice" He murmured at her retort, and raised an eyebrow at her when she suggested an escape plan. "I'm normally up for it, but there's children here, we're disoriented with no idea where we are location wise inside or out, and, well..." He raised his hands to her, smiling wryly when she came over and sniffed the cuffs. "Looks like they took a page out of the prison I used to live in. Only they had magic changing locks, not force fields..." Jing shrugged. He looked at Gun-Max, and found the other looking back at him. Jing smirked. "What, wanting to make sure the Bandit King hasn't left already? Relax, I'm enjoying your hospitality!" He chuckled. It was easy to go back to his old days, and if they did "experimentation and testing" they'd get to see just why he'd earned that name in the firs place. Although...He looked back at the others, as he'd never actually made it known to more than Facilier and Hotaru he was more than just an ordinary bandit.
Jade nodded at Belle. "Right. Being strong for the littler kids" She growled at Gia. She didn't like this out-spoken retorting person. Belle was more or less an aunt to her, and this girl was questioning her right to help lead? Jade wrapped her tail around Belle comfortingly. Jade snorted when Gia suggested that they escape. "I suggest staying here for a while and coming up with a plan, as well as seeing who's guarding us" She growled at him. He'd pay for hurting her leg!

Raven 's stomach grumbled- she felt sick, trapped, and clung to Kenoko for dear life , like an angry mother who had her children taken from her- she was protective of any child in need lately- and it showed. Her head snapped up as she heard Esme."Esme..''she'd say softly tears running down her cheeks, as she let go Of Kenoko for a moment to hug her friend- one of her best friends. She heard Belle too- and that made her calm down. "Is Arella..and rain safe? Gaara?"She'd ask Esme."What about Aladdin?"(Had to add on) As the form appeared her form instantly snapped from scared- too fucking"I want him dead," in two seconds, her form lightly ran up to the cell and attempted to use her magic"Azarath metreion ZINTHOS!"she'd shout as she got shocked- her form fizzled and she dropped to her knees-panting, her form growling, and forhead bleeding as she tried again"ZINTHOS.''she'd shout as her form yet again got zapped"LET ME OUT !"she'd shout- SOmeone does not cage a free bird. The cage MIGHT be smoking now.

Gia wasn't too sure why the others seemed so concerned about the children. She believed the cells were the worst place for them. But why? Why was she suddenly concerned that they escape. They were friends, but not in this life, they didn't even care to notice she was missing. She doubted anyone would even care, and why didn't they inquire why she was? Surely they would know a circus member from a stranger? The cell, the past, it all clouded things, and she begun to feel her company at the circus was all a lie. She narrowed her eyes, part of her still wanting to escape before they could activate her other form, or worse, what if they gave it to somebody else. What if they awakened a sleeping power that was never supposed to be active? She parted her lips and bit onto one of Jing's restraints, tugging, but to no avail. "Hm, yes, well the kids are better off anywhere except this cell. There are fates worse than death." She noted grimly, then pulled back, hearing someone enter.
The leopard like woman flicked her ears at the voice, walking over to the edge of the cell. She watched him examine the cell, running her tongue along her canines. She frowned a bit when the others started giving their discomfort, and especially Raven's dramatics. Gia wanted to care, she desired to help the others, but to her, they cared nothing. She didn't believe they wanted to escape, just like before- wait, what about before? She closed her eyes, then her arms crossed and her eyes opened slightly. She swayed over, just far enough for the bars not to shock her, or she assumed they would. She smiled in a rather confident and 'know-it-all' manner at Gun-max. "Well, at least the company's not bad." She mentioned, rather seductively to Gun-max. A frown followed, but her mind couldn't even catch up to her. She lifted her shirt to her nose, "Some new clothes would be nice, and perhaps some fish." She suggested, playfully, as she was neither hungry nor cared for her hygiene. She then turned and went to inspect the bunk beds.

Kenoko was surprised when Raven clung to her. Raven was clearly worried about others and Kenoko held onto Raven and tried to comfort her. Kenoko looked around to see if she knew anyone else. She had seen belle and Esme before but never talked to them, but they seemed to be the ones in charge. Kenoko decided it was time to be brave and do what she could to help. She walked bravely up to where Esme was but then all her encouraged disappeared when she tried to speak. "Um miss Esme....... Is there anything I can do to help. I'm um..... Ready to do my uh..... Part for whatever needs to be done." Kenoko tried to look brave but she couldn't keep her knees from knocking as she waited for a response. She really wished that Mewtwo, Charlie, or Ahiru were there with her to protect her.

Esmeralda's eyes narrowed at Gun-Max. "Figures," she said, glaring at him. "The big bad boy in charge has to hide behind a pane of glass while he makes defenseless people miserable. People must be swarming to pick you to talk to kids about Career Day." She knew being sarcastic probably wasn't the best thing to do, but since she couldn't fight these guys off, then she was sure going to try and get under their skin. Luckily, Raven seemed to recognize her, even though she still looked like a mess. She was still crying as she hugged her and Esmeralda did her best to calm her down. "Sshhh, it's okay, it's okay, I'm here. I'll look after you," she promised, holding Raven close and stroking her hair like a mother would do for her child. "Yes, they're fine. Your kids, Gaara, and Aladdin are fine." She gave a little smile. "In fact, I bet they're with Facilier right now, coming up with a way to get us out of here. 'Cause believe me, if we can't find a way out, they will. They're not going to rest until we're free." Esmeralda knew her dad would never give up. He cared too much about the circus to abandon them. However, Raven soon grew rigid in her arms, and was soon shouting magic words as she tried to break free. But the alchemists sign worked its mojo, and shocked her time after time. "Raven, Raven, stop!" Esmeralda shouted, grabbing hold of her as she tried to get her calm. "You can't use your magic in here! You'll just hurt yourself!" God, had Raven lost her mind? What had these people done to her? Was this what they would become after spending some time in here? Kenoko soon offered her help, which Esmeralda was grateful for. "Try to calm her down. You seem to know her as well as I do. Try to...get her mind off of this place," she said. "Or she'll try to use her magic again."

Gun-Max took Esmeralda's comment in stride. He'd heard many variations of insults before, and treated them like white noise. He did, however, glance upwards when he heard Gia's voice. The look was only momentary, and hopefully nobody noticed. It felt strange for him, having her back here. He began to wonder she even remembered him.
His thoughts were interrupted, however, when he heard cracks of electricity, and looked up to see Raven attempting to loose her powers. The alchemists circle did its job, but that did little ease his sudden worry.
"Whoa, hey! Stop!" Gun-Max called out frantically. He got out from behind his station, and began to rush towards the cell, only stopping after seeing Esmeralda calm her friend.
"Blast it..." Gun-Max muttered when he saw Raven's injury. He went back to his station, and hastily typed in a command.
After doing so, a pair of small plastic containers materialized in the cell. They were white and blue in color, with a red cross visible on the covers.
"Gauze, disinfectants, anti-bodies, and some other various medicines," Gun-Max explained, pointing at the containers, "use them at your own discretion."

Not exactly the kind of reception Belle expected from the facility. Esmeralda was calming Raven down, which meant her work on healing the others would fall into her task. "It's all right, Jade," she cooed, petting the dragon's muzzle as the big creature was showing a hostile glare at Gia's direction. She picked up a vial of an antibody and began studying it, her brow furrowing. Some veterinarian medications were appropriate to give some animals as some mythical beings reacted to them similarly to a cat or dog or...whatever animal it was closest to. After scanning the contents and finding nothing of intrigue, she sufficed by picking up some gauze. Ideally a splint would have been more appropriate for Jade's injured leg, but it looked like a simple lock in would have to do. Returning to the dragon, Belle glanced over the unicorn, trying to find a good topic starter for Raven that would get the little unicorn helping her. "I may not know him well, but Gaara wouldn't like you in this state, Raven. He'd be saying," she cleared her throat, trying to imitate Gaara's usual husk, "'Raven, don't waste your energy'." She coughed after finishing, the strain on her throat having done its work.

Gia looked to Raven, it seemed her injuries were important to the company because Gun-max gave it his full attention. She huffed and crossed her arms, not really sure why, but she felt a bit jealous. The bunk beds were boring, and she found the company of her cell mates undesirable. They acted like prey and she was tempted to treat them as such. Her pride swelled in her, and she guessed it had a lot to do with where she was. There was a moment when she felt glade to be there, even if the circumstances were bad, there was just something so right about this form. She walked back to the cell, her eyes studying Gun-max, wondering why he was giving the others so much attention, or even more; why she cared.
Gia lifted her hand to touch the bar with her fingernail, wondering if the shock would hurt much. How much could this new body of hers take? She decided against it for the time being, her eyes studying the man on the other side of the cage. Nobody had even asked her name, but she remembered the glance of Gun-max, and it for some reason interested more than all the words the others had said. She found it nice all of a sudden, that nobody knew who she was, that she wasn't this weak little leopard anymore.
She wanted to say something to him, but she just swallowed. Some images came to her through the smell of fear that was around. Other images were softer and they came through the look of the canisters that teleported into the cell. She remembered cats, many of them, all wild. She remembered these cats walked, and they looked human. They were scared too, and the man, he was there. She didn't associate his strange scent with fear though, in fact, for whatever reason, his scent was homely. "A-are you alright?" She asked, turning to look at Raven. This was the first time she caved and started acting like herself again. Something inside her was afraid to be the woman her body longed to be. She was afraid because that woman was not. That woman wasn't afraid at all, and she wanted to be out of the cage for a very different reason.

Molly hadn't spoken since she had arrived, everyone seemed to be doing that for her. She didn't like hearing all the arguing, and it made her sad. These people, whoever they were had kidnapped them and that wasn't right. But now everyone seemed to be taking the faults on each other. "No more fighting." she muttered quietly. The girl was tired of being treated like nothing more than a child and slowly stood up to get a better look at who was talking about medicial supplies.
"Why do you want us?" she asked. "We aren't anything special."

Jing watched Gia with interest, observing her actions and reactions with keen insight. "Most people can't leave right now, look at the dragon, look at Raven. If you want the best chance of escape, let us recoup and get well, and then start planning" he murmured. "But I'm guessing you want to leave because of past experience...?" He hadn't really thought about the powers being restricted, but it explained why his right arm was feeling dead. His arm operated solely through the use of magic. It was lame and useless otherwise. It also explained why Kir hadn't made an appearance or spoke since he woke up. Jing watched in shock as Raven freaked out and hurt herself attempting to use magic, and Gun-Max giving them bandages and other things for the wounded. He turned his attention back to Gia. She suddenly seemed like a different person. He tilted his head at the cat-woman. "Are you alright? You seem rather disoriented" He moved to where Esmeralda and Belle were. "I can't do much hand-wise, because of the restraints and my right arm is a literal creation of magic, but if there's anyone you need to be talked to, I can do that much" He offered, and shrugged. "Or, you know, testing the space we're in and seeing if any area is weak to physical attacks"
Jade nuzzled into the petting and sighed. "I'm just scared, Belle. I know I was an experiment to create a dragon. I don't want this place to be...you know. Where I'm supposed to be" She grimaced at the medicine and smiled at Belle's impersonation of Gaara. She'd only seen the red-head around, but Belle sounded accurate. Jade turned to Raven. "I'm sure your kids are fine. I don't think Gaara would let anything happen to them, so don't worry"

Kenoko nodded at Esmeralda and ran back to Raven and wrapped herself around one her legs. Kenoko didn't really know what to do so she just looked up at Raven and tried to speak to her to try and calm her down. "Raven please don't hurt yourself. We need to come up with a plan. We'll get you back to your kids I promise." Kenoko didn't really know what she was promising but she would try to do everything she could to help Raven get back. Kenoko spied the medicine which popped up and it made her smile as she pointed it out to Raven. "Look Raven we can get people fixed up." Kenoko didn't think that would cheer her up much but maybe it would help a little bit.

Though he tried to feign disinterest, Gun-Max couldn't help but feel a small bit of admiration for the group. He could tell they were a close knit bunch, and the way they seemed to come together for each other so quickly was impressive. He was half expecting the group to be much more distraught over their situation than this.
Gun-Max glanced over at Molly when she made her inquiry, and was admittedly at a loss for words; how does one explain the complexities of prejudice to an infantile mind? As an individual with zero experience dealing with children, the answer eluded him.
Before the awkward silence could draw on, the doors behind him opened again, and Gun-Max turned to see Alpha-7 making her way into the cell chamber.
"Hey, Boss," Gun-Max said, "I was wondering where you...um..."
As she made her way into the chamber, Gun-Max noticed the folded cot tucked underneath Alpha-7's arm, and felt genuinely confused. He also noticed Alpha-7 appeared to be acting more tired than usual, which was odd.
"You okay?" Gun-Max asked.
"Fine," Alpha-7 said, putting on a smile for her friend, "Tony just gave me an injection, and said I needed to take it easy for about 24 hours, so I decided to 'kill two birds with one stone,' to coin a phrase."
"You're gonna be sleeping in here?" Gun-Max asked incredulously.
"Come on, Max," Alpha-7 said as she set up her cot, "you know I hate being stuck in those..."
Alpha-7 looked over Gun-Max's shoulder, and caught a glimpse of the cirque members huddled over one of their own, who appeared to be injured.
"What happened?" Alpha-7 asked in a serious tone.
Gun-Max half looked back at the cell before answering, "She...she just went nuts. I don't know what to tell ya, some people don't handle captivity well."
Alpha-7 gave a short sigh. She was afraid one of them would try escaping and wind up hurting themselves. As she mulled over what had happened, she looked upwards at the lights over the cell, and noticed the intensity was fairly high. It looked like time to offer the first olive branch.
"Computer," Alpha-7 spoke, "lower ambient lighting over the cell by 20%."
As soon as she gave the command, the lights over the cell dimmed slightly, just enough to reach tolerable levels.
Alpha-7 then walked up to the cell, cautiously holding her hands up in front of her to try and keep them calm, "Everyone, I realize you're upset over this situation. And that my choice of words may be insufficient to describe how you're really feeling. I just want to say that everything will be explained as soon as our employer gets his-, as soon as he arrives here. Until then, I'd like to ask that you all try your best to remain calm for the moment, and try not to...over-exert yourselves."
